When Playing games...

I like to beat my partner and let her know I am the superior between the two of us.

Hi I think I would be more confident if my partner and I would be on the same team. I could just imagine that if he wins, I would be do pissed We play board games, compete at each other, when he wins I say no more to the game. So I guess I want him more to be a team mate rather than be an opponent.

Either way is fine. Last time I had a BF we went bowling and I beat the pants off him....but he whipped me at golf!

It really depends what we are playing if it is our video game system then you can't really play as a team with that and we are always against one another and it is really hard to just let them win and I am one of those people that was pretty much raised on video games and I have always loved them and in that way I have become really good at the ones I like my main passion is sports video games Baseball, Football, Hockey, Nascar, and I used to love Basketball, but not as much as I used to. so when we play games against each other I never let anyone win as I want them to enjoy it if they are fortunate enough to beat me my significant other became obsessed with these two wii sports games bowling and baseball and always tries to beat me at them and sometimes she gets closer then others I did let her win once at the baseball, but she could tell I wasn't trying hard so she didn't like that too much so I always try to give a good effort anytime we play as I am pretty competitive when it comes to my sports as it is always more fun to win then lose, but its always nice when someone else gets to enjoy it too since I am used to winning most of the time. We don't really play board games that much it is always something on the video game systems or the computer which is ok too as you can have fun doing any of those activities and at the end of the day the only important thing is to have fun and enjoy spending time together and I always try to make sure we do that.

If we are playing games at a party with other couples I want him on my team. We have been together so long we read each other very well and it works to our advantage.. However..I never feel bad when I beat him at cribbage, we both knew when we started the game, there would be only one winner and since it's only a game, who wins doesn't even matter, we both got to spend some time "playing" and visiting for a bit..at the sake of sounding beyond corny...that makes us both winners. The fact that we still want to take the time to do it after 20 years of marriage, means we will probably still have something in common when all of these kids get out of here!!

I used to race a lot when I was younger. I go out with my friends and do a bet or two. I must say, I always had a road-luck. No matter what kind of road I took. My wife knows about my past. One time we went out. She asked me to play gran turismo with her. So we did. Every time I was running ahead of her, I heard her made a cute sound of annoyance. So I always let her win. Every time. Even with facebook games. She doesn't want to be left behind. She wanted to be always a level ahead of me. So I let her. It is somewhat a bruise in my ego because I'm a man. But whenever I think about it, her smiles and happiness is much more rewarding. So I say, I would probably like to be in a team with her than to fight with her because I know even before the game ends -- I'll be the one in the LOSING END. LOLZ.

If it is just the two of us, we play against eachother simply because it takes two to tango, if you know what I mean, but when others are involved, we like to be on the same team.

Hi Sarah! I would never like to play against my partner. I would prefer to be in her team or will not play at all. I cannot play rival to my partner, in any case.

The only game we've played together is World of Warcraft, she got me addicted to it lol. We played co-op alla time, helping each other with resources and materials, even built our characteres around each other for mutual benefit.
