Sending Troop packages - those against and for the war

Lately our local stores and restaurants have been collecting items for our troops that are gone to war. I'm a big believer that everyone should donate atleast one item to each donation site because every little thing helps. Food, used reading material, hygiene items, etc. My question is, those who are opposed to the war do you still donate items to the troops because its not really their fault they are there or do you think that sending these items is makes you a supporter of the war?
