Where do you prefer to be born Sparta or Athens?

I'd rather be born in sparta. I want to have those abs that they have and i've always wanted to learn how to kill the spartan way.

I also prefer to be born in sparta, because they are a type of person who never gives up.

Well I would prefer Athens as they were a centre of learning most of the great minds were in Athens, and of diplomacy and democracy. Sparta, I would probably not like as all children that were not perfect at birth were killed or enslaved. They had an absolute dictatorship, a military state to the extreme. The state decided everything about their life. At age 7 boys were taken to the dormitories and trained to be part of the army their whole lives, though physically fit it was a stay fit or die policy. Also they could not marry or have a normal life until after they had served the state the demanded amount of time, they owned nothing more then what the state provided. Then if they survived all that they were given a fee and the end of that time, and then with the states permission they could marry and have a normal life. Still prefer Athens, they too prized training but it was not their life, and there they were truly independent in that they could choose the life they wanted, within the confines of what was permitted, and not be forced into servitude.

I prefer to be Spartan ! but in this discussion there are plenty of machos here wanted to be Sparta so I change my mind I would rather Athens because I am unique and I give the space for those to be Sparta because Athens more or less is the Overlord of Spartan people at the beginning :))

i would Sparta for all life...you becom strong, and there are all the most improtant ideals: honor, loyalty, glory...great city SPARTA :D

I would be rather born in Sparta because you become independent, you have no fears and other cool things.

I'd want to be born in Sparta. You are taught how to fight and how to survive in the wild which could really come in handy. Plus you are all taught the same so you can work together if you need help, and you will all be somewhat mature.
