My dear mylotters and dear friends the temperature at Hyderabad in India is around 43 degrees centigrade. The heat is a sort of dry heat without much humidity.I prefer to wear cotton clothes in this weather. What would be your choice of clothes in this oppressive heat?Do come out with your valued views on this topic. Thanks in advance for participating.

I feel you. Here in our country, we also have a very hot weather right now. We currently experiencing El Nino. Yesterday the hottest recorded temperature in our city approached 37 point something degrees centigrade. I know how you feel my friend. As for your question, I think you should wear nothing! hehehe, kidding!!! Avoid wearing clothes with thick cloth. Choose the most comfortable clothes for you. And always take a bath to be refreshed and relaxed!

hi,pic,my advise is to wear only cotton cloth made dresses is always better in summer that too light colours, especially white...even in night times it is better to wear cotton cloth made T-shirts ....
You can get good quality cloth and made by weavers available all over Andhra pradesh[Ponduru,kurnool,chirala,siricilla...]in Lakadekapool.....which is a famous and even majority of politicians purchase from those shops..

Hi picjim, I can imagine how scorching the hot weather in your place is. To me it's really terrible to tolerate such searing hot. I could hardly stand the hottest weather of 35 degree centigrade here recently, could not be said how severe it is to have such a very much higher temperature of 43 degree C. I think you, people there must always be sweating a lot.
Here we usually put on clothes, mostly made of cotton which is good in absorbing sweat. Sleeveless and with big neck opening and short pants having good ventilation eh.....But it's sad that such clothes is not allowed in our office So we usually put on them after office hours
Happy posting!

Hi Ikbooi,Thanks for your soothing and considerate words. We do sweat a lot when we are out in the sun or out at work.In the office and at home the weather is tolerable. What you've suggested is ideal for this weather sleeveless with a big neck opening and short pants to let the air in.I find youngsters and even adults wearing such clothes but mostly when away from work or while relaxing.Hope you have a great day and happy mylotting.

The same condition is in north India too,About 43 to 44 degrees here also.Only light color cotton clothes i wear and suggest as they reflect heat, otherwise the dark colors clothes absorbs the heat.So beat the heat wear light both in color and weight.

Unfortunately heat wave has gripped all India and we are having same condition here Maharashtra.Temperature here now a days is soaring as high as 42-43 in noon.In other summer season temperature here used to go down in evening and in night atlist but now a days even in night temperature remains high.
I am wearing mostly cotton dresses to cope this heat and cotton is best choice in such a condition. It absorb cotton and keep one skin safe.

HI Piya.
The weather is quite hot and oppressive with max never dipping below forty degrees. It must be very hot just like Hyderabad as the temperature is constantly around 42 degrees. Here too the night temperature is high and makes life difficult without Air conditioning.I agree cotton is the best for this weather as it absorbs heat and keeps sweat to a minimum and is good for the skin at the same time. Thanks and Happy mylotting.

Just avoid wearing dark colored clothes. Try wear clothes that are made from natural materials like rayon, cotton, silk, and linen. Try wearing light colored fabrics so it will reflect light and heat. Wear not so tight clothes and try a bit loose clothes. It is hard to breath in hot season if you have tight clothes. And don't wear thick clothes.
