How do I get more referrals for my free signup sites?

I am new to the internet and I am having trouble finding places where I can put my affiliate links so I can get referral signups, most of them are free to join and if I can build a big enough referral list I could earn more money. any suggestions?

Getting referrals is not easy to do. Traffic exchange don't work very much to me. I'm just asking people to join my sites and I'll join theirs too in which we never signed up before. This way we all have win win solution...

you can put your site's banners on your Mylot profile , this way you get direct referrals in no time :)

best thing to do is to make a review type of website or some people use a blog. Either or gets the job done. In both you write some type of review and post your referral links and get people to go to your pages and you will get some referrals. Now on mylot people randomly go to peoples pages so just make sure you have something posted on your profile or website to send them too. I liked personalized websites better than the home page of the sites because you can explain your personal experience, which will get you more referrals ; )
