Have you had 'tears of joy' for the surprises that God gave you?

I had..countless times already. Don't know why but every time I received something or when something happens to me unexpectedly which I know is good for me, I just become emotional. I then go to my room, face the altar and pray. I don't care if others will think of me as over-dramatic or over-acting because I know in myself that I'm not. I don't care if they don't understand because it's not about them. It's between me and my God. How about you?

I have. In fact, several times! Both tears of joy and tears of asking for help to God. Mostly I experience extreme feelings within me that i want to burst and just be happy and thankful to God who gave us so many blessings in life. I have so many times asked him for help, many times he saves me just in time. not an hour or a minute late or early.. but always right on time.
God truly manifests in many ways - he shows his love and care for us whenever we see the smile of our loved ones, whenever we have good food to eat, and whenever we have friends share their hapinness and sadness with us. I have felt many people have abandoned me, even my own father - but never God. In these times where i see a good and bright future ahead of me, i just feel god's presence around me... embracing me and preparing me for all the good surprises in life he has wanted for me and my family.

Hi Hunterkim,
I can totally relate to what you feel.
I have moments in my life when out of the blues, good things just begin to happen to me. I know I have not done anything I could finger out for being the reason for the "showers of blessings". All I can do is just go down on my knees and thank the "BIG MAN UPSTAIRS" for the unmerited blessings. In my own way, I dance for joy, I sing and in some cases shed tears of joy.
It's a feeling of gratitude i can not express with words. It's a natural way to say "thank you" to my heavenly father for being good to me.
Remain blessed,
Linksman
