Mylots Today i just decide i would write a dedication to my girlfriend and maybe you will be inspired to share as well. Anyways i met her in math class in 7th grade as she walked in she just caught my eye with the walk she didn't even need to speak cause i knew from that moment on i was in love. As she spoke to me it seems as if an angel was speaking to me i was like in heaven. Everyday i would look at her trying to catch her attention until finally one day i ask her out not know what would happen i took my chances telling her i love her. She didn't believe me so she just said she "liked" me i was ok with it because it was only the first month. After that month EVERYTHING went crazy we had it all she fell in love with me now 8 years later we will get married and ill be sure to keep you updated ladies and gentlemen have a nice day AJ signing out (=

That's a lovely story, and I think it's great that you're happy and you've got a good relationship. I think my husband and I were just "meant to be", I suppose. We've gone to school with each other since Kindergarden and were always in each other's class. Our parents knew each other and his mother and my father would get in trouble together on class field trips because they'd hang back and smoke together. xD We used to walk home together sometimes, too, and his mother would always remark about us and everything. I didn't start liking him until around 6th grade, but we never really hung out too much at that point, just talked sometimes in class. It wasn't until about 9th grade that we really started hanging out because I became good friends with one of his best friends. Then it became the four of us, him, two of our guy friends, and me (of course I was the only girl xD), so we spent a lot of time together. The other two knew i liked him, but whenever they told him he just said he didn't want to ruin our friendship and so we wouldn't date. Well, I dated off and on during high school and I always ended up going back to liking him. I finally got frustrated in 11th grade and was asked to prom by a senior, so I said yes and we went and had a good time. I started dating him after prom and we dated for about a month before I broke things off and went back to liking my current husband (of course, i just couldn't resist :P). Since he still wouldn't ask me out, I decided that, since it was our senior year, I had nothing to lose and would either have to gather up the courage and ask him out or live my life in regret not knowing would have happened if I had acted. So I called him and asked him to the movies. Our first date was a double date with one of our best friends and his girlfriend and from there on we've been together ever since. About 4 months into our relationship we moved out of state and moved in together. About a year into it we got engaged and a year and a half we got married. Not we've been married for almost a year and we're getting our own house and starting a family. :) The really funny thing is that all of our friends that knew us well and our family said it was about time, since they'd been expecting it for YEARS and it was easy for us to get used to each others' families since we already knew them. :P For everyone else in school it was a big shock, though, because I had the reputation for being the smart, quiet, social one that got along with everyone and he was the antisocial psychopath that was most likely to become a serial killer. xD It's funny how things work out, isn't it?

That's a cute story. Unfortunately I have no one to dedicate to, as I currently don't have a "lover" (or boyfriend, as I'd call it) or anyone even close to being special in my life right now. But I"ll come back and answer this discussion if there's ever a day that I meet "the one".

Its a mushy story.. is it love month? No its not, its April fools month. Kidding . Just envy because you find your own love of your life. Without going through a lot of pain and heartache. Me I've been into a lot of things but until now I am still struggling in my relationship. Even if we are already more than 3 yrs, I still have lots of doubts and confusion with this relationship. Lucky your so lucky. Be in love forever.. Enjoy and have fun in mylot.

I think it's wonderful when two people find true love. After 7 years you must know what it is you want. If this person didn't make you happy you would know by now. I would like to congradulate you and your long time love on finding out what life is about. Marriage is not as easy as it seems but with a lot of work and loveing each other no matter what you can make it work. My husband and I have been through some hard times but with respect for each other and putting love first we have made it for 13 years. I don't plan on that ever changing. We are closer now than we have ever been. The hard times make the good times more enjoyable. Cheers to you and yours have a good life together. overwith
