do you think that hardwork is the only key to success?

I have mixed feelings on this. We are told at a young age that hard work always pays off and try to be better but sometimes it doesn't work. It has come to attention that sometimes you just have to know people and you can get to the top. The business I am in a girl got hired and is making $4 more than me and doesn't do anything just because she worked with the boss previously. I bust my butt everyday and it makes me so angry.

No hard work is not only the key to success. Planning i also important factor. With only hard work it takes years to achieve some thing. With hard work and planning it takes much lesser time to achieve some thing.So only hard work is not necessary. To secure a seat in a reputed college it took me three years where as for others it took two years.

Haredwork is definitely a strong key to success. It is not the only one though. Luck, will and determination are also strong factors to consider. Hardwork will surely lead the way to your future's success.

It all depends on how hard you want to work sweetie. I would say a bit of hard work and a lot of strategic planning can get you much further. TATA.

for me, i will say that smartwork is the main key to success. In my opinion, there are no use if you work very hard but do the thing in the incorrect way. Let say if you are a highschool student, colleague or whatever, in your studies...you just need to work smart to success. as example, if you need sit for exam, just make a quick and small notes that u can bring along wherever you go. You can read this notes while you are talking and eating. It's far more easier than carrying two or three thick reference books to read all of them. But, i admit that not all people can work smart because we have our own individual brain potential and not all type of works can be solved by just smart work. So, u should know what is the suitable situation for you either to work hard or work smart. Not all things need hard work and big efforts. This is just my opinion. Happy MyLotting!

well..I think I will retype the title of your post.. "do you think hardwork is a key to success?" I retyped it because, success have many ingredients for you to attain it..of all the ingredients hardwork is one of the most important..and I proved it that hardwork, smartness, being wise, being a risk taker, and waking up early can lead to success by my older sister.. :))

I don't believe that only hard work can be considered a major thing for being successful. Do you know that these junkyard man, newspaper boy, janitor, local carpenter and sidewalk vendors are also hard working people? But do you think something is happening like they have been promoted to a more elevated living? I am not against their work, they are legal and decent. But what I am trying to emphasize here is that in order to succeed, one really needs a good opportunity or chance. If there is nothing like this, even if you work 24/7 it will be just nothing. Education plays an important role also, it is an added ingredient, not a requirement though. If you want to succeed then seek God first in your life. Absolutely YES!!!!I believe that we are actually smart, but we are often too lazy to explore our potential. We can`t judge people are smart from where they work, whether they win scholarship or not etc.every one has his or her own strength and weaknesses. Success depends on how we can explore our potential and keep improving our skill. I still believe that success in 1% intelligence,99% hard-work

hi,reply...this is old proverb....only hard work is not working out as in olden days...A plumber..a driver..a clerk..can't become a successful person in their life time..at last they can perform their family duties as per the social standards.. Now a days apart from hard work,you should have some extra techniques to get success...luck...

Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. That is the motto I am going with. Hardwork really do pays off and a lot of people I see are living testaments to that.

At first I thought, "Well, it certainly isn't just luck!" But, I have met so many that b/c of nepitism, pure luck or simply that God liked them alot~ that they succeeded despite not working at all for it. I'd like to think working hard would lead to a fruitful life.

Hi replyashu . Yes i usually hard-work and I never expect success . Success comes beneath me whenever I hard work . Morever if you hard work I believe that GOD will help you as GOD is great . I have not seen anyone in my life who has hard worked and not succeeded in life . I think it is natural that if u hard work then u WILL succeed . If we hard work and if we are unable to finish the task, many people in that stage stop working hard. That is not right. We should not GIVE UP.
