I may say that my hands skin was not that pretty compare to other girls.Since i have a family now, i have no choice but to do household chores, which causes my hands to be a little bit rough. For me having a clean nails is more important. It simply reflects every person's personality. Nowadays, there's so many nail polish brand in the market. But i find caronia nail polish as the best nail polish i've ever tried. It stays for more than a week, its not easily to tear off.And the best thing is it doesnt harmed my nail. Some nail polish i've tried, after 4-5 days my nails became yellow, and it doesn't look nice at all. With caronia, my nails still look fresh and white. How about you? Do you experience you nails become yellowish after you applied nail polish? What did you do to get rid of it?

I rarely apply nail polish on my fingers since I like them clean all the time, I don't trim them too short because my hands look better with longer fingernails (but not too long), I have no problems with regards to nails because our family has tough nails. Further, I only use nail polish for my toe nail. A manicure expert once told us that regardless what brand you're using for nail polish, it will soon cause nails to become yellow, it's not actually the nail polish destroying your nail but rather the nail polish causing your nail to not see sunlight and not breathe which is why it tends to discolor. She advised us to not prolong nail polish on our toe nails, 5 days would be enough to a maximum of 1 week if we don't want our nails to discolor. However, she says that it's quite normal for it to do that and there's no permanent damage as long as there proper cleaning before application of the nail polish. This is why, whenever I am on a break, or a long weekend when I don't need to go out or wear sandals or open shoes, I tend to take the nail polish off to let my nails 'breathe'. As for getting rid of the yellowish color, you just have to clean it well. I think the best person to do that is a manicure professional or you could learn to do it by asking around or studying vocational schooling. I heard from them that more breakages is due to wrong cleaning procedures which causes the nails to be brittle and could easily tear. One thing to avoid is acetone, they recommend nail polish remover instead. You could actually get a lot of tips from them since they handle more nails than we do.

Well, I'm addicted to nail polishes and I hate it when it becomes yellow. But I've avoided that now, I use either a nail hardener or a nail protector before I put on the nail polish. It acts as a shield to the harmful chemicals that the nail polish has, plus it makes my nails strong. I also noticed that dark colored nail polish makes your nails yellow.
