why do we fall in love w/ someone who's near our age?

I guess it is because of the generation and level of communality.
But I still wonder why in most cases we choose those near our age?
Like in love, normally we fall in love to somebody who's age may be a little bit older or younger with us. Though we may like somebody whose a lot younger or older but it's uncomfortable especially for everyone that surrounds you.
When we are teenagers we may fall in love with everyone who are on high school or college. You sometimes don't get in love with a 7-year old or at 30's or even to grannies. But, when we get to 30's, we may fall to everyone who's age ranges in 25 to 35 also. You won't like any granny. And when you became a granny you can still fall in love with another granny. Ha ha
Confusing? I'm very confused. Ha ha

maybe it is only because our age.when we were young,we might admire sb. so that we don't see their faults.we thought they were perfect.if we were old,we may fall in love with granny.because you will find that you have no topic when you talk with younger than you,or you prefer to talk but the younger don't like to listen to you.only another granny would like to listen to you.if we are at 30's ,we prefer to fall in love with thouse whose age are around us.if it is this,you can have many topic and comunicate with each other.you should not worry about that wether your partner could understood you and listen to you.it is a pleasent for you to talk with your partner.

I get it... I see that satisfaction on what you need in falling in love maybe on age range of which can understand us or how they do on that age, like in talking with your partner. And talking is very important on relationships to nurture each other's mind.

Well, I think it's because we usually get to spend more time with those people near our age like in our school, work, or other activities. We become friends with people near our age providing fertile grounds for love to bloom on. We also usually have similar interests, more possibilities of a common factor.

To me love does not know age its just a feeling and age does not really alway matter. I'm 8 years older then my boyfriend. The father of my two grown girls is 14 years older then me. Today I heard about a 43 year old women pregnant by a 19 year old kid. I personally think that is crazy but the women said she doesn't really care what other think they love each other and that is all that matters. We fall in love with people for different reasons but I don't think the age plays into it at all.

Nice to here some stories like that to further feed minds on the mysteries life and love have.
I agree with you that people love on different reasons. Love is very mysterious. There are plenty more stories of extraordinary love.

well you fell in love with him and he is your friend, so the best thing to do would be to try to make him see you in a different light.this is how you do this.
