Who is the key player for Team India?

Well said, its true there is always different players and even i wrongly judged many expecting the same performance all times! But it varied, so no one is key players.

I agree with Dhoni on that. Although, Yuvraj wasn't in a very good form in this seasons' IPL, Yuvraj may be a key player in the pitches like West Indies. He had scored runs in the Caribbean before. West Indies are suitable for players like Yuvraj to score runs. Now, Indians players have a variety of batsman who can perform well. But let also not forget that even a bowler can turn out to be a key player. Harbajan? Zahher? Indian captain Dhoni itself will play a vital role in batting and most importantly, captaining the side by rotating right bowlers on the right time, field set up, setting up batting positions, winning the toss and deciding what to do, reading the pitch, reacting to the opposition, playing under pressure, etc...

Yuvi played a key role in Punjab Kings 1X's disasterous performance.If that team had an Indian Captain,he would have dared to rest yuvi for few matches.Actually ,Dhoni is requesting him to co operate.If key player is not playing to the level of expectations,the team will suffer.To save the team ,the team management may be forced to change the key....

I agree that there could be no single key player. But the players whom I feel can play a key role if India has to good in the T20 world cup will be Murali Vijay, Suresh Raina, Yusuf Pathan, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Zaheer Khan. We dont have enough good ballers. Pragyan Ojha Should have been in the side. Also Robin Uthappa will be missed as he was in great form
