A president is.. I remember my grade school teacher who asked our class this question..
being children we shouted different things.
I am naive when it comes to politics. I do not debate or discuss anything because i feel that it is too extensive and complicated.
I think people forget what a president really stands for.
It is not about how much promises he makes or how intelligent he is. For me it is all about how he will serve the people.
If I could turn back time i suppose i would say to my grade school teacher a president of the land is a servant of his people. What about you.. what would you say to her?

A president is a person who should not do bad to the country if ha can't do any good.

A president is both a leader and a servant. He/She is the beacon of his country and therefore leads them to what is good and what is right. A president leads by example and has fear of God and respect for his fellow men.

i appreciate how you remember your grade school teacher's question. there are questions that we tried to forget, but eventually haunt us back when it matters most. a president for me is a leader. s/he knows his/her job and its consequences to the people. s/he cares and has a heart for the people whom s/he pledges to serve. i agree with you that s/he must be a servant-leader.
