yes, it was. i actually watched this one initially because i thought mandy moore was gonna die in some horrible accident. i didn't like mandy moore before i watched this movie so that was my main reason. but i loved her after this movie. i've probably seen this movie more than 10 times. i still watch it whenever it's on tv.

I agree, this movie is indeed a beautiful movie. I did cry watching this movie as well along with my classmates/friends back in 2003 during my 4th year in high school. This movie made us all sobbed and got our eyes red and swollen.

Yeah! It is a very amazing movie. The story is really very good, touching, and heartwarming. I admire the guy there, he did everything he could during the time that the girl was still alive. Anything by Nicholas Sparks is really wonderful. I am looking forward to other movies by Nicholas Sparks in the future.

the movie makes me cry too..even when im still reading its book..such a nice story..it will touch the deeper side of your soul..

The first time I watched this movie, I also got teary eyed, even though somehow I knew what was going to happen. I watched it again two months ago and I felt sad about their love story, but if it didn't happen the way it did, then I think the movie would be boring.

That movie made me cry a lot. It was really sweet tho and very well done. I made my guy watch it with me and he cried a little too.
