Like dog, like owner?

Ever hear that pets take after their owners? Never thought that was true until I got a dog. My 10 year old husky mix, Charlotte, truly does have a personality similar to me & my family. She is a free-spirit, dislikes being controlled (on a leash, etc) and is generally just happy dog. She can detect emotions,and respond appropriately. (She followed my pregnant sister around the whole day before she went into labor as is she was protecting her, she wakes people up in the middle of the night when it storms). And Charlotte doesn't act her age at all, she acts like a brand new puppy despite her senior status. Which we all try to find the energy & youth inside. Does your dog reflect you?
