Traveling overseas or in the US?

I have never been out of the US but I plan on it in the not so distant future. But I have done a fair amount of traveling in the US and I've loved seeing how unique different states are within the same country. So which do you like better, traveling to other countries, or within your own?

Traveling overseas is nice and all but I would love to travel all over the US. I live in California and I've only traveled to Oregon and Washington. I'm missing out on 47 other states. I mean, California itself has plenty of places to see that it's not funny. I live in the northern part of the state with the mountains and open spaces so it feels like I'm going to a completely different place once I go past Sacramento and further south. One of these days I would love to go on a road trip across the span of the country. I've heard of people doing it and having a great time so I want to try it myself.

The USA is a very large country with lots of things to see. It is a popular destination for people from many different lands. I come from England and it is a small country. I can say I have seen more of Australia than I have my home country. I have now visited fifty different countries. There is nothing like going on a safari in Africa and seeing all the animals. Some countries offer tropical beaches and lovely snorkeling experiences. I love traveling and think it is never too late to go off exploring another country. Good luck with the traveling that you will do. Maybe you could visit Canada or Mexico.
