Health is our wealth they say. If we're sick we cannot be productive and we won't be able to do the things we need to do. Eating Health, Drinking lots of water/fluids, and Exercise are the top ways to keep or make ourself healthy. Most of us find these hard to follow and we have our own reasons or excuses. Exercise although a must or common for some, others rarely engage in. They find this boring and not interesting. Nowadays, lots of gyms are just around the corner and lots of people are also engaging into sports. Others prefer the gym while others would rather engage in sports because they find it more interesting. AS for me, I would rather engage in sports such as basketball, badminton, volleyball, swimming and running. What about you, would you rather go to the gym or get into sports?=)

Going to the gym regularly can be expensive since you have to pay for membership except for those people who are getting perks on gym memberships. I actually do not have the knack for sports so in order for me to exercise what I do is just jog or I go for long walks. It may not be an overall exercise but at least I get to exercise for free.

Gym memberships in the Philippines yes can be expensive. I too remember a few places in that area that charge around close to 2,500 to 3,000 pesos a month. But here in California, we pay about $25.99 a month which is around 2,000+ pesos rounded off.

I think sports and Gym both works towards a better health but sports serves two purpose, you are playing and at the same time doing workout automatically. Outdoor sports are always good for health. I love swiming and running and whenever I get time thats my first priority.

Well that depends on what you want to do. If a person wants to lose weight, get in shape or get on a diet then they should consider going to the gym. If one wants to play sports, it's a good exercise to be around people, family or friends when the day is pretty sunny and hot. Going to the gym is a good source to burn off fat and calories. Playing sports on the other hand is a good source of energy, but not highly efficient to burn off fat. Also keep in mind that those that do get into sports are already fit and in shape. I myself go to the gym about 4 to 5 times a week. I use the elliptical for about an hour or two for cardio. I do about 2 hours of weight works whether by machine, bars or the dumbbells. And the best spot for the gym? The 24 Hour Fitness Center -- And the place I go to is always packed with people with hardly any parking space to park at the back.

hi! I think that goign into sports is better, because in the Gym we actually train our muscels and into sports we actually train a lot and we learn how to be more tough!

if you want to go buffed up, go to gym but if you want to stay slim and sexy i advise to get into sports because most of the sports is consisting of cardio/ running, walking, jumping etc that really can make you stay slim

You can both do that, going to the gym or getting into sports, it's that sports can create camaraderie while in a gym you can be isolated.

I eat usually healthy diet and engage in sports like basketball, cricket etc. Exercise and healthy diet both are necessary for a good health. I like to go to the gym too . I go to the gym almost 3,4 times a week which would be enough to keep a fit body if you are not planning to buff it up. Engaging in sports increases stamina too. so i keep up a balance between them. I usually go to gym evening and i jog in the morning too

I love both :) From a health standpoint I understand that it is better to do personal sports or the gym. Sports like running and swimming or going to the gym is not limited to one particular season - nor do you have to wait on another persons schedule. Though the buddy system can be helpful (and for some will be an absolute must if they're going to be successful)... the necessity of another player can make the physical activity happen less often than it could or should. Physical activity is the new medicine - helps in almost EVERY disease as long as one doesn't over do it!

For me, I like both :) I like going to the gym at night or when the weather doesn't allow me to play sports outside. At the gym, I love doing cardiovascular exercise on the trademill and do some light weightlifting to tone my arms. When I feel like doing sports, I usually go swimming or playing tennis with my friends. Sports are great way to bond and socialize with friends while keeping our body fit.
