I am conservative in my cooking. I rather have the slow way of doing it because I feel that artificial Magic Sarap and the ilks of it could do harm to my family. There are a lot of cancer people already in our society and many are due to environment. Included in the environment is what we give to our kids.

Yes.. Its all are artificial seasonings. But we don't have choice coz natural seasonings are too expensive.

hi mimiang, i also like cooking the traditional way using those traditional ingredients. i am not really fond of using these instant flavoring except the sinigang mix. hehe coz its kinda difficult to find tamarind in my place. i don't like much those seasonings because i feel like everything tastes the same with them.

If it's bad for the health then it wouldn't be approved by the BFAD. I think the artificial flavors wouldn't be bad at all, if it is not taken in everyday. At least have it twice a week as long as not everyday.
