twitter and gossips

has anyone using twitter usefully?nowadays most of he celebrities use twitter to say their views on whatever subject and i belive it is very much helping to reduce unwanted gossips whether by taling or through newspapers.a fan can just visit his account and know what the other guy is saying.lately here Amithab on his blog said he was havig some disease of liver which is serious and which only comes or people who smoke.this gut doesnt smoke but he caugh and he says the reason for this as an accident during a film shooting.i say blogs and sites like twitter(whats the difference between the 2!)would be preety usefull and could be used more efficiently like Amithab uses to talk to his fans and so do we to talk to ohers who can be anyone.

Twitters can't save celebrities from unwanted gossips. People know that celebrities can post whatever they want there. Even lies that can save their names from gossips. Only die hard fans will believe whatever they post in there.

I have been using for last couple of months..As everything has its pros and cons,twitter too has its own..Its has really made the world so small.we are in touch with the celebrities now which was a dream of many people earlier.
But its creating controversies to at times..
But we should always be optimistic and see the brighter side of the twitter.
