Nowadays, the weather is very hot and sweating at times can be very uncomfortable. At times I get conscious because I might be having a bad odor already or bad scent or something. I am really getting so conscious that whenever I feel hot and will begin to sweat, I don't want to be beside somebody else. How do I overcome this?

Aaaahhh...don't you hate it when you sweat alot? You get pit stains and body odor, lol. But,seriously I don't see anything wrong with sweating,it's your body's way of regulating temperature and getting rid of toxins. Just be sure to drink lots of water to replace lost moisture.
To avoid smelling awful, just practice good hygiene. It's really nothing to be worried about, some people find sweat to be sexy (heee heee).

Sorry, I kinda forget how difficult it is (happens when you get older ^^ ). I remember when I was in highschool, I used to sweat alot especially around my armpit area. I bought all sorts of deodorant, so I could try them out. I found out there were different types, there were, roll-ons, gels, lotions, and aerosol sprays. I tried local and imported brands, even those for men. I found that the aerosol spray worked best for me. It was the Secret brand. It costs quite a bit more than regular deodorants, but by george!, it kept me dry. Too dry in fact, that I had a hard time scrubbing it off during baths.
Now, I'm not that sweaty anymore, I think my excessive sweating at that time was caused by stress. Try it, it might work for you!

Hi, sulfur soap? Like Dr.Kaufmann's? I am afraid to use strong soaps because it might have a side effect. I tried to use tawas but it does not work for me. I don't really know what is the problem with my underarm.

There is nothing we can do about our weather right now, because it is summer and PAGASA tells us that the worst is still yet to come. What I can suggest though is to take as many showers as you can, get a very, very dependable deodorant and last is to wear clothes that will be comfortable for you. I suggest cotton shirts that are loose because the more tight fitting our clothes are, the more uncomfortable we become once we begin feeling hot and sweaty. Also, bring a fan, umbrella and try to stay out of the sun!

Omg! really? I barely watch the news lately. Thank you for the update. But lately it's been raining heavily and I think summer days are over. I only experience this problem during summer. Yes I have to continue searching what deodorant will really work best for me. Hmm i hate bringing an umbrella because tendency is that I just misplace is.

First, you need to drink a lot of water to prevent yourself from being dehydrated. Then you should always bring a handkerchief or towel. If possible, take a bath two times a day. Don't spray too much perfume to cover up your odor, because you might stink more.

I am really not a perfume person. I go for baby colognes. Yes I am really trying my best to drink water instead of carbonate drinks. Thanks for the time. Good day!

Summer is here in our country and sweating is just a normal reaction of your body because it excretes impurities from our body. But if you think you sweat too much, then you have to consider the following like taking regular bath and shower at night before going to bed. Using of cologne or perfume or any deodorant to use so that you can be at least smelling good.
Do not use shirts or blouses that you have used before that was your sweat. It should be placed in the laundry already so that you won't be capturing the germs and bacteria to that kind of clothing. And also drink plenty of water to replenish your water level and eat fruits such as watermelon, melons and other juicy and refreshing fruits.
About body odor, just don't eat much spicy foods and onions. If you have to detox your body, do so every twice a month. You can ask a doctor about detoxifying properly. Do not self medicate and go over the counter for such detox medicines.

Ahhh. I totally feel the same way as you do. I sweat a lot and it's quiet embarassing, specially when other people are close to you. On my part, I try to always bring a fan with me and some hakys, it does help, but how I wish there is a medicine for excessive sweating that is cheap, cause it's really really uncomfortable..

I feel the same way. I hope there is a cheap medicine to cure this type of disease-if this is already a disease. Yeah I will try to bring a fan with me. Nice suggestion. Thanks!

Better if you sweat you wipe it off, then have some baby powder besides you.and baby cologne or any perfume can be a help to reverse your smell/ after you take a bath you put some deodorant then powder to your body. I do sweat it is normal nowadays it is really hot. I hope this El Nino is over now.

Yeah most of the time this what I do. I wipe then put baby powder. Do you think that I will still be able to find a solution to this problem?

I've got the same problem, as far as you can call nature a problem, like you. Most of the time I wear one of those undershirts. It absorbs the sweat so you won't get the sweat rings under your armpits or even the spots on your back.
Second I do is use anti-transpirant deodorant. No problems ever since.

I get sweat rings but when it's dry already then it disappears as well. It's just that it's yellow afterward. Hope you won't find this disgusting.

maybe its hereditary, or your metabolism works fast or maybe again, its the weather. ask for the doctor's advice.

I don't want to visit the doctor yet. That would be my last resort if I really cannot solve this using natural products and the readily available stuff out there.

Try to have lots of water---do not drink like camel at once lol but have fluids in regular intervals and which would help you to keep your cool and it works best to control the bad odour too.Its damn hot in here too and i hate these summers especially the noons .go for a strong deodrant which can be great use when you're with your mates.great day.

Hi, I am in the same situation as you. Now I used deodorant after I finish bathing and I have started using perfume. But don't get those very strong smell perfume. Get those that you really like because when you sweat somehow the fragrance will get "amplified".

Really use perfume after taking a bath? Like what kind of perfume are you pertaining to? How about cologne? Can I use it as well? Perfumes are quite expensive.

I have had the same problem for years. For me the solution was a product called Driclor. It contains Aluminum Chloride which reduces underarm sweating. It lasts for days and for me has been brilliant. I'm not sure whether this product is available outside the UK but I'm sure other countries have similar products. Mine was recommended to me by my GP. Hope this helps x

Good for me, I do not feel bad about sweating thanks of being a man as sweat and ache feel minimal to us male animals. Well it can be irritating sometimes so to get rid of sweating, I continually direct the fan towards me for me to stay dry from perspiration. I take a towel or cloth to wipe my sweat then reach for some shade and take a rest. The less the activity the less the sweat.

hell0!
well, the only tip that I can give to you
if you really sweat a lot these days, is
to wear some clothes made by linen or some
other more "breathing" cloth, because
your skin must "breath" more when the weather
is hot. you can also drink some hot tea
because as we all know drinking hot drinks
in the hot summer days makes our temperature goes
down and we feel not that hot!

Hi mavie, like you, I sweat excessively. :| What I could suggest is for you to use a strong deodorant that has a good scent and is a good anti-perspirant. Always bring with you a handkerchief or towel, a fan, and some cologne. Don't go for perfume because it may make the smell worse. A baby cologne would be nice because you can apply it to your neck, chest, and clothes and it will make you feel a bit cooler. It's really refreshing. And don't worry, because you're not the only one who's sweating. I'm sure everyone around you is also feeling the same way due to the hot weather.

Yes I always bring baby cologne all the time because I easily get rashes with perfumes. I am not a handkerchief person, but a tissue person. I even experienced putting paper towels in my underarm to absorb the heavy sweat. Do I have to see a skin doctor?
