Do you think everyone is self - centered or most of them are people oriented ?

I think that the world would be a much better place if there were more people that thought about the well being of other people instead of just the well being of theirselves. However, it seems to me that most people are more concerned about themselves than they are concerned about other people. I know several people that are concerned about the well being of other people, but the vast majority of the people that I know are much more concerned about themselves than they are for other people in this world.

tHERE are way too many self centered people today. I don't consider my self that way at all because i care about other people & their problems.

I have recently given up on a friend , that was acting soo egoistic and thought only about himself and it was almost never happy and soo hard to please , i used to know this person ever since we ware kids , and i cann tell you that he always had what he wanted , and i dont think that he ever felt the heavynnes of life , hence he's parrents were working verry hard to give him more then a decent life , when he grew up he becamed ( To me ) verry unbearable , and i decided that i rather have a normal friend , who cann apreciate the Life and be happy with what he have , rather then sulk because he was never happy with whay we proposed to do. People like that are probably self centered because that how they have been used to , by theire own familly. Have a nice day dear friend

We are all self-centered to a point. We have to be: it's called SURVIVAL. However, there are those that go overboard!

I have successfully banished my inner "I".It has come to my attention that there are way to many I's in the world.The only time I discuss something that happened to me is if it can help others cope with something they are going through.As for me personally,my "I" is much happier helping others and reaching out to those in need of a real friend.
