Why do I get more answers about dogs than about science, politics or philosophy?

I've started many discussions last month and it seems that people prefer a very simple question than a sophisticated lucubration... What do you think is the reason? Are many myLotters young or unprepared in these abovementioned topics? Is it a problem of language? Is it a matter of time?

Here is my take on your question..or should I say questions. :)
I think that the "non-dog" topics you have mentioned can lead to conflict of opinion and people don't want to get into serious debates. I think people tend to stay away from such topics as some people have strong opinions about such topics, and they are not mature enough to accept other people's views.
But that is just what I think. Happy myLotting.. Oh and one more thing. Science and philosophy would interest me. I don't have a dog.lol.

:-) It's important to be open-minded and prone to accept and listen to strong opinions. Being able to transform a serious debate into a happy and stimulating discussion is always challenging. Cheers!

This is because, dog is more attached with humans and it is a good friend to humans.. so, everyone knows about dog.. and if you ask any doubt about it.. most of the persons will answer...
even though the science is a part of human... we cannot accept all those things.. and thats what the problem is...

...so the secret is to find universal topics, possibly related with Human habits and feelings, like pain, love, riding and playing! Thanks, pal!
