I believe that will make many students happy. However, with a shorter study week, that would mean cramming the courses into a shorter period of time. The teachers would therefore need to teach at a faster pace. For slow learners, that would be no good at all, as they can't catch up with the faster learning pace and may thus do poorly for their tests or exams.

I'm a neutral party here. Although 4 days a week means more time to relax (Yay!), it also means we have less time to learn new knowledge, thus, this would take more time to complete our whole school life (No!!). Nevertheless, I bet all students out there will feel that this is a dream come true.

I think this is a great news for students. Besides study, the children will have more spare time for their own interests. They shall have more time to do some sports and have outdoor activities. Hopefully their study pressure will be lower because of it. I love China

It may seem that it's great at first, but if you'd really calculate it you'd be spending double the number of years or the number of hours for you to finish the required number of day/hour/year in school to finish your High School or Degrees. Which I think wouldn't be something great at all. First, we can't really do that because a person's mind cannot retain more than 30mins of focus (most especially if you're a teenager) which is already being exceeded since the school hours per subject taken these days is between 40mins to 1hr, there are even times when it's stretch to about 1hr - 2hrs. that is if we're talking about the 'regular' schedules. Therefore, if you make the usual 5days to 4days schooling. Well, just imagine how many hours you'd need to spend per subject in order to compensate for the 1day-less school schedules. I know it's quite technical but if you've really been doing your homework and some math, you wouldn't think that shrinking the 5days to 4days would be a good idea at all.

Wow! that would have been great. Maybe because I hate school and school is so traumatic for me. Our teachers are so strict and scary. But it would have been impossible for that to happen, because in my school, I have no time to rest, everyday is work day. SOmetimes we have class or activity during weekends. Plus we have so many paper works, projects, assignments, exams and tests that we dont have enough time to do it all. A single rest day would be great for me, how much more if I will have 3 days of rest, *sigh* it would be like heaven.
