beneficial to myself: cooking lessons with my mother-in-law

i started my cooking lessons with my mom in law just last saturday. shetaught me how to cook adobo and sinanglay-a bicol dish. it was a perspiring day at the kitchen during a hot weather. im glad that im not only learning how to cook but im strenghtening my relationship with her. how about you, when did you first learn to cook?

Thats so nice to hear..even am planning to do so. My mother-in-law is a great cook and she does all cuisines so deliciously and prepare them with health concern. So i am gonna start my lessons with her from next month.cheers :)

i have always been a cooker i am the oldest of 3 duaghters so it was often my responsability to help my mom but my mother in law is phillipino and i also learned to make adobo with here and many other cultural foods and i have to say that b/c i am white i think it made her know i was intrested in her culture and keeping it alive in my son (her grandson) so i think ti realy strengthend our relationship
