hardworker vs talented

i often got frustrated by the kind of people.. its feel than although i try my best in studying, eventually someone with less effort will exceed me miles away without breaking a sweat. now im in the university i have face this situation lots of time.. it keeps me wondering if the world only for the talented one. people without talent always and always left behind. its often makes me depressed whenever i think about my future. what should i do?

let me put it this way, when i was younger my brother and i ran a trucking company, now, since im not talented in computers and book keeping i hired people that were talented in such positions but they came and went. my drivers however were hard workers, and i wouldn't trade any of them for anything or one, hard workers are very hard to come by and i always treated them with the up most respect for making our company what it was and because of their hard work i gave them 4 weeks paid vacation, fishing trips and cruises for their families and also because of them i retired at the age of 43 thanks to them. i wouldn't trade a hard working man or woman for anything their what makes the world work.
