Do you talk/chat on your cellular phone when with others?

Do you yak on your phone or text when with your boyfriend/girlfriend/date/friend? Are you the sort that leaves them bored beside waiting for the movie to start, or at a restaraunt? Or are you the kind that this is a pet peeve of yours - or do you not care either way?

I would agree, except I don't tell them I'll call them back - I let the voice mail do that :)

I am always aware when someone else I'm with is focusing on their cell phone calls or texts rather than my company. That's why I do my best ignore my phone unless there is an emergency. People forget that it is impolite to focus on their cell phone rather than company; it shows people that you have a disregard for them, so it's unlikely that they'll want to hang out with you. Also, friends have that experience and then think that it's okay for them to do it as well. I wouldn't like it if someone did it to me, so I try not to do it to others.
