Well some of you already know that my cat went missing on Saturday and i had tried everything to find him with alot of help from my friends.Aman rang me earlier to say that he had seen my cat go into a garden of a ladies next to him, so i asked my friend to go round while i stayed here incase he darted back this way.He was really scared and the lady said she had been feeding him since September, where as he was coming home then aswell for food.So my friend tried to pick my cat up and it clawed all her chest as he was scared.I think that the lady had kept him locked in her house from Saturday until today as he was scared soo much.Tonight i took him to the vets and he now has a micro chip as well as two of my other cats. She knew it was my cat is what another person told me as they were asked by the woman if was anyones and they told her it was mine.He is now shut indoors for 2 weeks and then we will see what he do.

Hiya jugs, Glad to see you have found him again. I thought myself too that he might have been going somewhere like that apart from finding himself girlfriends. One of our neighbours used to feed a few cats but because they were practically living on the street all the time. But she never kept them she fed them outside or nothing she only ever let her own Cat back in again. When our Cat escaped she fed him for awhile and then he found himself another place to go.

Happy to see you got your cat back, jugs. I can't understand why the woman didn't contact you, and tell you your cat was at her house.

I am happy to have read your discussion. Atleast now you are happy that your cat is again with you. YOu have nothing to worry now. But Since september that cat was with the Lady. So it is so long that you are looking for your missing cat?

jugsjugs, Good to hear that you've managed to find your missing pet after all this while and I am just glad for the both of you, there. I hope that it will be able to recover from the scare and your friend from the scratches. That, the both of them be in the pink of health, soon. I just cannot stress the importance of the micro chip for pets and I hope that pet owners will let their pets wear it. Hope this will the last time it will consider running away.

I'm glad you found him. It makes you wonder why anyone would keep an animal that they knew belonged to someone else. Didn't she know how upset the real owner would be? At least you found him and put a chip in so he won't be lost again!

Oh so sorry for you and for your cat to have this trouble some period, I think you could have first make your cat to forget the moments he had with that lady and then make him feel happy. Hope evrything with you will be fine soon..

How very strange that she would "kidnap" your cat that way. Maybe she's lonely and needs to get one of her own. It doesn't sound like he was too far away from you so he was likely just exploring. I think the microchip was a great idea. I am not sure it's fair to punish the cat by keeping him indoors if he normally goes out every day, that will make him depressed and sad. He won't understand why. I would go and chat with the woman myself and very nicely let her know that while you appreciate her feeding him, you would prefer that she contact you if she has a problem with him being in her yard and you will come and get him. He did sound frightened to have clawed your friend, I am sure he'll relax now that he's home safe and sound. You might also let her know that you have him microchipped and if she has no pets, maybe you could tell her about a shelter near you where she can get one of her own. I always try to look for the good in people so try to give her the benefit of the doubt. Take care and so very very happy he's home again where he belongs!

cat - cat is the best friend of human being .for it is the most intelligent animal.
I love cats. All kinds of cats. I know cats. I want to help you live in harmony with the cats around you. If you love cats, love their colors, eyes, whiskers and fur; if you love their purrs, chirps and meows; then you love cats, too
I am glad to hear that you have it again. it is the most intelligent animal. I love cats. All kinds of cats. I know cats. I want to live in harmony with the cats around me . you are lucky that you can have a cat .

Jugs..YEAH!! I am so glad you have found your cat..I knew he was allright. What a relief for you. That woman had to know that the cat belonged to someone. You can tell a stray from a cat with a home straignt away the minute you look at them. I'll bet your cat is happy to be home. Even though she has been feeding him, he still knows where he lives and I'm sure wanted out of there. Cats would let everyone in the world feed them if they could get away with it, but they always go home. Maybe this woman should get a kitten of her own. Surely the shelters over there are full of them just like anywhere. Micro chip technology is great. At least now you'll never have to wonder and go through the heartache you did this past week. I'm happy for you and the cat..See, prayers work!!! J

I'm so glad you found your cat. Great idea to get him micro-chipped. Sounds like he also needs a GPS locating device :} Have a great day.

Personally I would never let the cat out of my house ever again. Be glad you goyt your cat back this time and never let the cat roam again. You may not be so lucky a second time. This is just a healthy warning to you from someone that has lost one to many cats.

I think its a good idea to keep cats indoor animals only. It can be dangerous to let them be indoor/outdoor pets. You were lucky to have found your cat and that he had been found, but you have to watch out, that sudden agressive behavior could be something else. Personally I'd keep a close eye on him, and try to keep the indoor thing perment. He may not like it at first, but he'll get used to it.
