Hi Nehmer,
Yes you do have a chance...especially if you are a newly graduate...Pharmaceutical company prefer fresh graduate as they are very easy to train,no complaints at all..and they actually prefer non medical background employees...medical students leave them once they passed the board exams..they prefer those who will stay & grow with their company....so Nehmer...you have a good chance...

hello Nehmer,
I am not a medical rep but I know a lot of friends & colleagues...and they helped their family more with the income they have a med rep rather than their professions.Try to check in the internet what are the pharmaceuticals that is available in your area...try to check if Pfizer,zuellig,zandoz..they are really a good paying pharmaceutical company....good luck nehmer....they always train their newly hired employees don't worry...

hi nehmer,
If u have done your studies in cs than why r u opting for a job in med-rep..I strongly believe you must opt for a job in the field u have pursue. If you are no more interested in computers oo programming than u can opt for med-rep but if u are interested in computers than find the job in IT field....

As long as the company would provide training yes you are. But you can sell the product more if you have medical background.
Actually all you really need are marketing skills and you're good to go.
But I have a question for you, do you really think that is the job that you want? are you willing to put your education on the shelf and try this odd one out?
There is a reason why medical representatives have high salaries and a lot of perks. THINK ABOUT IT :)
