Only those of us who remember the 60's will know the original song, "See You in September". Even if you aren't familiar with the original, this remake will have you smiling. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJRIdeoceh4 Enjoy!

He's a great actor. Did you ever see "What's Eating Gilbert Grape"? I saw it a few years ago and it showed me that even as a very young man, Depp was an actor like few others.

He beat up Arnie! That's attractive? I was ready to go through the TV at the guy.

Don't just sing it--do it!! Vote the bums out! I'm guessing you didn't hear the original when it was in the top 40--sweet song, young love and all that. It makes it all the more appropriate for the parody.

So, vote the bums out! The original was a great song. Hot summer nights, laying in the cool grass looking up at the stars and dreaming of having a boyfriend like the one in the song...sigh..

hi dragon54 I loved the remake, now I am smiling again, was down but that did make me smile. I remember See you in September very well. I was busy raising two little children at the time but still kept an eye on the elections too. Life was a bit easier then and we had so much to look forward to ,raising two children then eight years later we lost our sweet little daughter and for a long time I did not really give a hoot about anything which was not fair to my son but I did snap out of it as he deserved a whole mother.

I am so sorry! I can't imagine the pain of losing a child, I doubt I could recover if I lost one of my boys. At least, though, we know that our loved ones are waiting for us and we'll see them again. It was easier back then. It's such a mess now, I get discouraged and things like this video make me smile again. Sometimes I wish I could dig a hole, crawl in and pull it in behind me, it's such a mess!

Hi, dragon54u. Although, I was not born during this time, I still like the song. It was very pleasant and funny. Me and my kids enjoyed watching this video. I like the things that were done in this video.

I loved that song when it came out. I didn't have a boyfriend, wouldn't have one until I was 17, but the images and emotions it evoked were magical.
