Hello myLotters! I'm sure some of are moms already. And most have moms! Mother's day is coming up. What will you give your mom on their special day? Other than a very big hug and a kiss, I plan to give her beauty products particularly the one I've discovered, Dead Sea products. I think she'll like it because it's something new. They have a variety from body scrub, mud soap and even body butter. My mom like bags where she can put all her documents from work. I think she'll also like it. What do you plan to give her on mother's day? To all the mommies what do you plan to give yourself? Let me know so I can copy you and even take your suggestion. =)

Those sound like good gifts :) I don't really have money to buy my mom much and she pretty much has all the things she wants and needs so I'm going to cook my mom a nice dinner and then do the dishes after. My mom is always making us nice meals even tho we're all old enough to cook for ourselves. So she deserves a night off.

Wow! Cooking! You know it will really take some effort for me since the only dish that I cook is pasta mainly tomato base. I hope if I'll be cooking for her it will taste good. But I know she will appreciate it specially if I'm a beginner in cooking. That's a good one! =)

Haha I'm sure even if the food wasn't that good, your mother would still appreciate it because you tried your best for her. It's like when I was little and I used to "draw" for my mom. The pictures were horrible. But she told me they were lovely and she'd hang them up in her office. It's just what mothers do :)

I think anything would do, as long as it is useful for her. (Extreme example would be your mother is a gamer, so you give her a PSP, lol) The most important thing to take into account is how much will the present show your love towards her. Sometimes even a slideshow of you and her and the rest of the family which reminds her of all the good memories that you guys had together since you were a child would magically turn out to be the best present of all. Points: Things that show: 1) Your love towards her 2) How much do you cherish her, and the time that you spent being with her 3) You really do care and know what she needs Just my 2 cents. :) Happy Mother's Day to all them Mothers out there. You guys are outstanding in every way!

Thank you for sharing your thought. I have a feeling if I do that slide show it will be tears all over. I will end up not finishing the presentation. Oh well we'll see on Mother's day. =)

Yes, never waste an opportunity to tell Mom or anyone else in your life that you love them. My wonderful Mom is no longer living. I can wrap a gift but delivery is a bit of a problem. The only gift I can give her now is in how I live my life. Mom, you did a Great Job!!!!! Let's say it all together.... MOM, I LOVE YOU!!!!

I give my mom nothing for Mothers' Day.I just phoned her. In fact, I regularly call her. I mean,I would let her know I love her all the time, not just in just some special days. It just give me an opportunity to express my thanks for her giving birth to me and bringing me up and having paying for my education. It is my turn now to take care of her.

You know you have a good point there. It's not just on special occasion we should be giving thanks to our moms. I make sure I do that everyday! =)

I will always give my mom the same amount of cash on her birthday as well as on Mother's day. There was a year when we bought her a bouquet of flower and a Tiramisu cake but she didn't like it and she declared that she would rather receive cash than anything else. So from that year onwards, no headache!

My mom is also like your mom in a way. She wants cash. I give her allowance every month. I'm also sure she'll ask for cash but I'll give her a gift anyway for a change. =) So no headaches for me either!
