What has changed since Google left China?

For both Google and Chinese Internet surfers,what has apparently change?
I just doubt if there is change?Thank the God,Gmails,Picassa,maps,et,all these are like the past.We can hardly leave Google.
But are there any diffeneces in the speed or something else?
