I read a few days ago that in Afganistan, there are people who are abusing girls who go to school. I want people to know that this is wrong in Islam. In Islam humans are not even allowed to abuse animals and plants, let alone abuse other humans.
Afganistan is slowly changing because of this group of brave girls who go to school. I truly hate those who felt that girls shouldn't go to school. Be it in Afganistan or any other place.
When a woman go to school, she is then able to raise better children. But this is also untrue because my mother is lowly educated but she had a fantastic foresight and sent all her daughters to school and managed to raise better children then all the mothers in her time who did not feel that education is key.
Oops sorry I digress, when a woman is educated, she may be able to raise better children because a mother is the first teacher in a childs life.

"In Islam humans are not even allowed to abuse animals and plants,"
That may be as is written but is not true of Islam as it is practised in much of the world

Why let that influence your thinking of Islam? We know that as humans we all love to break all kinds of laws. Islam provides the perfect guide to life and I promise you if you read the holy Quran with the intention of seeing the truth, you will see the truth.
That is why I write this as to say not to view Islam as what some Muslims perceive it to be.
But I understand why you say what you say because it is human nature to see the small black spot in a white table cloth.

oops by saying small black spot refers to the bad Muslims verses the good Muslims. Believe me, Islam is all white or good or perfect.

That is wrong its the sexists that are creating this nonsense. I am a Baha'i and we believe equality of all religion, elimination of poverty, and equality of men and women, and world education. How can we eliminate poverty when girls can't go to school. I completely agree with you, even in the Baha'i Faith in the teachings it said if a family can only afford to educate one child educate the daughter because she will be the better one raising her children.

Good for you. Listen to your heart and do what it tells you. The heart will never ask you to cause hurt to another being.
