I CERTAINLY DO!
yesterday when me and my sister together with my niece, went out to withdraw money and buy things needed in our house.
we really needed the money also for the expenses in the hospital for our mother.
as you remembered i've posted a discussion about my mom's recovery.
we got to the bank and found out the atm (automated teller machine) is out of service so we searched for nearby places where there is atm,to our surprise it's also out of service!wow!
so we decided to go other places and luckily we found one.
my sister then withdraws 10,200 pesos.
machine stated to wait while transaction is being processed.
but then 2 minutes had passed and turns her upset she cancelled the transaction and gets her card.she then took balance inquiry of it and surprised to see there was 37.20 left in her card.
we even checked the next person if they got the 10,200 in the machine.
is it possible that someone can get the money without having the card?
we reported at once at the hotline number of the card.and the representative said it was very unusual to happen.
we then have to wait at least 1 week to check what really happened to her money.
what in the world would this happen?
our mother is in the hospital because of seizure and my sister is having a hard time on her work and now her money had been robbed by the machine!
what worst thing can happen now?
my sister then ask for money on her boyfriend.
we then shop for the things needed in our house.
when we've decided to go home,it's raining really hard
just another bad incident!
but thanks we brought 2 umbrellas!
even bad things still happen,we still have good things around us that can still thank GOD for!
how about you?
did you have a bad day?
tell me how bad it is?

Shalom!
Ann, bad things happen and it can turn our day so bad or just make your life meaningful... it depends on the attitude a person had.... once I was not able to make it in one obligation and it made me gust but I was thankful for if I was there then things may get complicated..... So ann everything works together for good it is just a matter of attitude... Just sharing

you're absolutely right there,eric!
even if bad things come our way, let's see to it that we see things positively in that way we won't blame others or ourselves for such bad incident!
be calm always and start figuring out solutions and don't react negatively!

Hello friend!!
I hope everything is fine with your mother now...
I have faced such problems with ATM machine when I required money.. I went to my university ATM and it was not working then went to another ATM and that was not working either...
Well as happened with you that money did not come out.. Same was incident with my father... He had gone for transaction from ATM and money did not come out but the balance was deducted... He later contacted the bank branch and they returned money in account after some process.. It was all technical fault...
Money was deducted from his account but the transaction slip was showing no money withdrawn so that worked as proof...
Have nice time dear friend!!
Take care of yourself... family and your mother as well!!
Happy myLotting!!

hello my friend,
yeah my mother is okay now.she's about to work the next month again back to her teaching profession.both my parents were both teachers and they've been teaching for a very long time.
my sister got her money again after a week from the bank.luckily, the money did came back to her and like your father experienced it was technical problem.
oh, i have a discussion about my mother's illness back then.we were happy she was back to herself again and hoping she'll not have seizures again.
thanks for being here,my friend!

Oh my God! that's a lot! You know, I have heard of a modus operandi about teller machines being attached with a bar that has a black glue or something underneath it. That when you try to withdraw from your ATM, no money will come out but your balance would decrease. try reading this article: http://superpatrick.wordpress.com/2007/12/06/beware-of-the-atm-modus-operandi/
Bad days come knocking from time to time but I always end it by eating my comfort food or by simply sleeping. I just let it happen and let myself say "My life sucks!". It's good to have a little bit of drama sometimes.
I hope things will get better esp. your mom. Just ask for help from up there;)

hi sionx,(we have the same no. 23!)
well, thanks for the link! i'm glad to learn about the modus operandi!
but when we withdraw that day, it was in a mall and many people are withdrawing that time,my sister didn't really get her money because she didn't wait long enough for her withdrawal is being processed. she canceled the transaction then.
and checked again her balance but it was reduced.
then the next person withdraws money and we saw them (they were a couple),
withdraws 6,000 pesos.when my sister withdraws 10,000 pesos!
i'm sure there's nothing happened, it's just the card i guess!
