What type of chat messenger do you use? / myLot

I primarily use AIM-AOL Instant Messaging for talking to most of my friends. I have noticed that people in the Philippines tend to use Yahoo and people from all over the world often use Windows Live Messenger or MSN Messenger. I find it interesting how everyone uses a different type of messenger. I personally have all three to talk to people in the Philippines, America, and all over the world.

So what do you use? Do you chat often? Feel free to share the ones that I did not list, like Googlechat or Facebook chat or anything else that you might have.

I use yahoo. Mainly cause i talk to my mother and sister who live in another country, so using yahoo voice and a webcam it s like a videophone:) OFc most chat messaenger have this ones but it was the first i used many years ago and it remained the same since i don t use it for other purposes other than keeping in touch with my family :)

I chat quite often although it's never really busy despite of me having over 350 contacts. In the past I liked chatting more than I do now, now that I grow older I am more conscious of what I say making chatting less fun.

I use Skype most of the time to chat with friends and family and it is also great for video calls as well as instant text messaging.

I sometimes use Gmail chat between myself and my wife and my daughter, but mostly it is Skype that I use.

When I am on Facebook and see other people on there that I want to chat live to, then I also use this, but this is fairly rare for me.

i used YM even before it was famous and that there were other apps for chatting (ICQ?? i forgot their names ahahah). until now it is my main way of chatting with friends, though i use skype for videocalls with my husband. sometimes i chat with FB friends too but yeah, YM is my main chat messenger.

i use msn mainly but do have yahoo. i find msn easier to use, but like yahoo for it's voice chat. dont use chat on face book much.

Well, I chat most often on the MSN messenger. That is the one that I am most familiar with. I like to chat with my friends on it. I don't think it is that hard to understand how to use it. I don't think I will be using AOL though. I will just keep using MSN because I like it the most.

I haven't used others. I've only used yahoo messenger but it was before. I only chat when i needed to. I don't chat to mingle now. I just got tired of it.

I heard about that most American people they prefer to used this AIM-AOL Messenger, I don't know really why but the feature of it is something that's completely and faster than other Messenger I guess...Somehow I tried this AIM-AOL Messenger just about a couple of weeks until now but a year ago when I still didn't discovered yet this AIM-AOL Messenger, I usually used YAHOO MESSENGER cause all my friends and classmate are using this messenger, and some are still doing so...And also this Facebook Chat I also used it sometimes...

i just only chat on skype.. before that i use to chat on yahoo.. but now foe me skype is the best among all.. most of the time i do video chat...

hi eddyspaghetti i only use two chat messenger and that is yahoo messenger and skype... i use yahoo messenger to chat my local friends at our neighborhood or my classmates and i use skype for business reasons in my freelance work. because it is really convenient using skype its easy and fast. unlike yahoomessengers cam2cam its very slow and always disconnects.. hehehe

I don't really chat much- but I use Yahoo messenger..I haven't really tried any other chat messenger other than that. I'm quite satisfied with Yahoo messenger though..
