I love to find my pain inside the lyrics of the song

Lately I can't listen to Country, too many "missing you" songs. My husband passed away two months ago and the pain is still strong, and country music just makes me cry. So I listen to acoustics mostly or jazz, Josh Groban, and similar music. It relaxes me and as long as I can keep my mind and hands busy, I don't think, if I think, I'm crying again.

Yeah music is a part of life as u said. Our mood is changeable. We like to listen music according to our mood. And lyrics that can change your mood but sometime we dont understand lyrics but we can change our mood even from music. Sometime i dont understand lyrics but i love its music that can change my mood.

Lyrics to some songs are really powerful but also could be quite destructive, just how some novels inspire people to kill. I sometimes dwell a little bit too long on the lyrics of a song, especially during my not so good days

We have the same approach about music. I considered music as an outlet when I feel happy, bored but most especially when I'm sad. Music does not only make me feel good but it also soothes the pain I am feeling. I prefer listening to love songs, it reminds me of how I found my partner and how we handle the good and bad situations we had along the way. Honestly, music (love songs) is the reason why I'm still holding on to our relationship no matter how he hurt me in the past.
