Not seeing a previouse discussion about this so I start a new one.
I have several blogs and one account with Adsense. To put Adsense on your blog to earn money, you have ato have the Adsense code on your blog and then when clicked on, that click checks in to your Adsense account and pays based on the click.
I started with getting a new code?HTML for each blog I have. WIth 8 blogs, that's alot of codes/HTML. SO I started using the same code/HTML on ALL 8 blogs. My thinking at the time was, I'm not really concerened with where the clicks are coming from, as long as I get the earnings in my Adsense account for the click. So all clicks on Adsense on all blogs goes to the same Adsense account.
So here is my question: is this profitable or beneficial? Is it better for each blog to have it's own code/HTML adsense ad? I can see it would be helpful with respect to monitoring traffic and where it comes from and all, but for the sake of earnings...which is better, one HTML Adsense code for all blogs or a seperate Adsense HTML code for each blog?

The only reason I would separate the code (other than to tell where the hits were coming from) would be to track which posts and topics got the best results. If you have different blogs, you could track them this way and avoid wasting time blogging about things that no one was interested in.
