Are there really Aliens out there like Stephen Hawling thinks?

i do believe him... coz universe is a big place.

Hi Sourceseeker, A few decades ago, you'd have a hard time finding a noted scientist who believed in extraterrestrials. Now you would have a hard time finding one who believed we aren't alone in the universe! Some scientists only lean towards us finding microbial life, but I am among those who are with Stephen Hawking and believe in intelligent extraterrestrial life. Humans tend to be arrogant and think that we are the top dogs in the galaxy. However, if life formed on Earth, I don't see why it would be unreasonable to think it wouldn't form elsewhere, and if they had a few million or even thousand years on us, in evolutionary terms, why wouldn't they be technologically advanced to come into contact with us? I don't know if it will happen soon, but I do believe that sometime in mankind's future, it will happen. Hawking believes it won't be a situation that will work in our favor though. Hopefully that's something he'll be wrong about! P.S. Hawking isn't an astrologer. I'm not sure if that was a mistake but an astrologer is one who studies the zodiac. Hawking is a cosmologist.

As a Christian, I believe there are aliens out there. My uncle used to bring up this subject and now after seeing some things in the Bible, I believe. When my uncle came home from the Navy in the sixties, I first saw his books about flying saucers and became interested. In the 1980's I did genealogical research and went to the third floor of the National Archives where I saw some of the Project Blue Book files. Most of the entries were mostly blacked out. There is definitely something beyond our comprehension. So I think Astronomer Hawking may be right.

hey there..i too believe that aliens definitely do exist..how can they not when the universe is so huge. we can't possible be the only living things in the whole of the universe. UFOs and aliens have always interested me. as a child i used to gaze at the night sky hoping to see unidentified flying objects! have had plenty of dreams about UFOs invading our planet. that's just stuff of my overactive imagination but i really think there's gotta be life out there and they are probably far more superior than us.

With the universe being so big It is hard for me to believe that their is not other life form out their. Does that mean that they are hostile or about to visit us any time soon? The only way we will know the answers for 100 percent sure is it if happens But I am also reminded of the words by Carl Sagan. extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
