Man,Partner, Bestfriend ! ROLE into ONE!

Hi sweetie. My man is my partner, my best friend, and my lover. I can tell him anything and everything. We hang out and have fun like friends, we hold hands like lovers, and he protects me like a man. I'm very happy to have found all these things in one person. We talk late into the night still today, even after all the time we've been together. We have no secrets from each other. Sometimes that makes things hard, but we work thru the hard stuff. Why,your partner is not that to you? Cloud 31 no one is perfect but i believe in time your present partner will be that person. It is the matter how we grow in a relationship. But don't believe me, because I never been in a relationship . I am guessing too. I will be very lucky if i have someone like him. A matured man, a boyfriend and a bestfriend. I really need someone to guide and take care of me.

Hello Cloud, I am happy you posted this, and brings me back in thought about my darling sweet loving girlfriend. I am blessed to have someone I can be all that for. Unfortunately, we are too far from each other now, but are due to get together soon and plan to be married in February next year. I found the love of my life.

hi cloud. i wish someday you will find the one for you. my wife and i are bestfriends for almost 15 years now. and we know more ourselves now. and now, we both agree that there are still some things better not to be known to one. she has one or two most kept secret and i know it will not be revealed, she will never going to tell that to me, until the end. on the other hand, she also believe there is one or two that i should keep secret. we believe that to keep the relationship, we have to keep those secrets at our own. we are afraid that it will only lead us to something that we will just regret. but we are really best friends.

Hello my friend cloud, correct me if I'm wrong, you need an "all in one" package in terms of relation.Since you are a woman of course you need a complete man in your life to be your partner in life forever right? Yes, nobody wouldn't dream of that. But for me it is really hard to look for that partner if you wish it to be with that guy forever. I mean, it is really hard to tell because while you are still in relation (bf & gf)both of you never know deeply what kind of characters and attitude you have. Or maybe one of you is still hiding those bad attitudes, afraid of showing it to each one of you before settling down. Believe it or not there were still couple don't know how to adjust each others bad habit and attitude though they've been together for several years after their marriages. Oh by the way, I am talking in behalf of married life. I think you're both lucky with your bf if you both show with no reservation of who really you are before getting settle down. To sealed my statement, you can easily find this man in a friendship relation than to have this kind of man to be with you forever. I hope and wish you can find this man my friend... Yep, that would be nice. Guys would love it as well. But not so much that we end up tiptoeing on the threads of the "friend" zone. Being in a friend zone is always something I get paranoid about when it comes to the woman I love. I can be a friend to her as well, as long as we keep the lovin' (know what i mean?) going... Cloud, I may say that yours is 'wishful' thinking . Though I honestly wish that your 'wish' about a partner, best friend and lover, rolled into one come true, yet I'm afraid, in most of the cases the dreams do not turn into reality. We always keep wishing about an ideal partner and keep searching and looking for him/her, however, in reality it does not happen, because no one is perfect. When we face 'imperfect partner' (as per our own yard stick)our hopes get dashed to the ground.

hi cloud31 my late husband and i was best friends we could read each others mind from across the room.we where partens in everything if one of the kids ask us for something and one of us was not there to talk about it they would have to wait untill we talked about it. we shared alot of secrets together and he never let me down he was a wonderful one of a kind man. and i am sure there is others that feel the same about there partens and it's a wonderful feeling to have about some one i just wished i could of had a few more years with him

I'd also want to have a partner who can also be my bestfriend. The characteristics you mentioned is my ideal man. However, in real life we can't have everything. Sometimes the man that we love can't be what we expect them to be. That's one reality in life that I was able to accept. I was so idealistic when I was young and told my self that I would only marry someone who would be this and that. It's normal to set standards but sometimes we are given a partner whom we don't expect to end up with. My husband is someone I can tell whatever is in my mind. That's one good thing. However, our ideas and point of views sometimes clash. There are things we don't agree with but it's not really a big deal. What matters is that at the end of the day we still find a way to meet halfway especially in decision- making. One thing that I can tell though is that I'm contented with him. I'm contented just being with him at home. Sometimes talking to him over coffee or while we are eating. Watching a movie or TV Programs (usually National Geographic and Discovery Channel) with him is alos one of the things I enjoy doing with him. Those are just simple things but it's our way of bonding with each other. I can't say that I can consider my husband as my bestfriend. All I can say is that he is my partner and would always be there for me no matter what. We are one. He can't be my bestfriend because in times that I have problems especially when it has something to do with him I can't tell him about it. :) Happy Mylotting!

Hi Cloud, I am proud to say that I am my Man's Best friend...We've been together for 17 years now and half of our existence we were already partners, we've grown up together, we've shared so much about anything together and we are happy as best friends. He can share his own stories with me & I can share my stories with him without hesitations that he will think something about me...He is only after of seeing me happy while he shares stories and I share stories. My laughter is always his music. That perhaps the reason why up to now we stick together though he needs to leave me for a while to work overseas but he is sure to come home after his contract. He made me his true north that always leads him to his home.I am his home cloud... we are his home(me & the kids).:)

This world would be perfect if all of us could find that special guy. Sigh. I wish that's real. I'm so jaded now that I don't think it's possible in real life, but deep down I guess I'm still hoping to meet that someone meant just for me. Maybe that's why I love reading books so much. I'm escaping from the reality which keeps letting me down.

This is the perfect description of a spouse! What you have described is the way it should be, but don't forget, that best friends fight. and best friends don't always treat each other best!!! sometimes, you will fight and you have to say your sorry and they have to say they are sorry. relationships aren't easy and without commitment to make it work...it's easy to walk away in the hard, frustrating times. What is encouraging, though is that when you have that person you know isn't going to, then you can truly understand happiness
