How would you feel if you've heard the favorite song of the dead people?

I just wanna know how people feel especially if you're close to the person who died. I have this very close friend of mine who died at a young age. We used to sing the song "Alive" by Trio together way back in elementary. When we entered college, we lost communication and haven't heard from each other for a long time. I just had a news about him again when he died. But I wasn't able to attend the burial so I felt guilty. Then a week after that, I've heard his favorite song and it really creeped me.
