I am on a site called Triond. On this site, they launched a referral program (on January 27th, which happens to be my birthday) where you get 10% of the person's income. How do you get active referrals?! I'm not just spamming or offering more than possible. I'm answering relevant questions with true facts and statistics. Is there any secret method? Do I just get lucky? Should I just work harder? None of my family or friends are interested in getting money online, they actually don't like computers very much. Every month, I get between $0.00-$0.02 from my 50 referrals. What should I do?

Hi Rose,
When Triond started its referral programme, I was not interested in it at all. I just wasn't good at getting referrals, especially active ones. I can't even get active referrals for myLot.
But recently, I was just writing about Triond here in myLot and offered if they were interested to join Triond since they would like to earn more money. But among the people whom I referred (I only have 4 ), only one was very active. That is because her main motivation was writing and not just making money. So that is a plus. That person must like to write or post pics when they would make good Triond referrals.
The other thing is to guide your referrals. One thing you have to make it clear about Triond is that it is not a quick money-making scheme. Many of these teenagers want fast money to supplement their teenage purchases. And as soon the money is not there, they will not stay. So teenagers may not be good target.
They have to understand they have to write regularly and a lot if they want to earn the money. Some are easily discouraged by the miserly amounts and the small number of pageviews they are getting from their ONE article. I always remind my referrals that if you are expecting to make tonnes of money from a single article, forget it. It will not happen. They must understand that. Once they know that they have to put in effort and you made things clear on how to make money on Triond, you will attract the more active ones. GOod luck! I'm not banking on my referrals for my earnings though. I have to be active myself and keep on writing.

If I had your talent in getting that many referals for a site and the site only paid you that much in one month I would think I was wasting my time and go to another site and work my magic there.
I think your referals are not doing their jobs either if you're only making one to two cents a month so I would keep looking for more referals and only keep the ones that are benefiting you because you're there to make money. For those who are not doing anything and just sitting there registered, I would send them an email asking if they need any help with the site because maybe they are stuck and not sure what to do or discouraged?
Good luck
Have a nice day

Don't worry about it, you did your best and did well with fifty referrals (that is impressive). You have no control over how much money you make from other people, and I'm afraid there is no secret method. Just carry on finding more referrals or accept that you are not going to make much money with it and find something else to do instead.

I feel bad for you rose, you exert effort to get many referrals and their earnings is not enough to buy you a peanut. Maybe you can get active referrals, 1 active referral is much better than 53 inactive. You can use your skills in getting more referral and earning more money from them.

Oh, my friend
Maybe Your referrals are not active.
I donn't know about Triond. but I think it's a site making money online.
If your referrals are not active , even 1000, you cann't make money by your referrals!
All people want active referrals, even only 10. they can give you money daily!
You can make a exchange with someone for another site.
You can give your referrals some profit in the earning of your referrals make.
Good luck

Thats just bad luck... I have only one referral there and last month he wrote 4 articles and I got 1-2 cents. Too bad he become inactive now, but I gues I'll still earn from them. Try helping your referrals by giving them help and tips on how to earn there.

I don't have any referrals, and I make a couple of dollars per article per month I think. I wonder if I just do a horribly bad job or what. But don't you get paid right off the bat for your articles?
