A little suggestion to myLot - check the topic before being posted

Hi myLotters! There's just something came to my mind so that we will be able to avoid having a deleted response or decrease on earnings. I'm just thinking what if there's a board committee of myLot that will immediately check a topic and it will not be posted yet unless they already have the go signal or the topic was been proven no violation. Because what's happening is a topic with violation was been aired and responses are coming, until time will come that it will get deleted. So my suggestion is before myLot let the topic aired or posted, they will check it first. Yes there are guidelines and we can read them, but sometimes, people misunderstood it and sometimes it's not that clear to them. So what are your thoughts about this? Are you in favor of my suggestion? I would be glad to hear from you. Have a great day and happy myLotting! :)

Sweetie, where were you the whole time? That is the best damn idea i have heard in a long time. If that can be done, i don't have to misbehave anymore, shame, but i can live with that. It would make it easier for all of us. TATA.

Hi saphrina! I'm glad that you also like my suggestion and I believe that it will really be beneficial for all of us. I just heard some sentiments from other myLotters that's why I have come up with this idea. Thank you for responding and have a great day! :)

Hi redhotpogo! Yes, I think that is really what happening and it will not be a good one. I already realized that it's not a good suggestion. Thank you for responding and have a great day! :)

It's a good idea, but it'll surely introduce delays in posts. That can be problematic sometimes. They already have a tough time answering our queries... Maybe more people will leave then, getting angrier as days pass.

Hi hora_fugit! If it will just make myLot complicated then it is really not a good suggestion at all. My purpose is for our benefits but I guess my suggestion is really not a good one. Thank you for responding and have a great day! :)

i also do not agree with this suggestion. if mylot will hire additional staff, just to make sure no one will be posted with violations and prevent them from posting discussions that will only be deleted after getting some or even lots of responses, they will only be reasons for our earnings to get lower or slower.

Hi neildc! Yes, it will really not get approved and myLot will really object to it. We should just be contented with what is available. Thank you for responding and have a great day! :)

are you asking for like a moderator in every category? say every interest? well, i'm thinking just a board with very few members won't be enough. because in addition to your concern, my worried also include repetitive topics. i haven't really read about the rules in making a discussion and i had only one discussion here so far, and i remember, when i made it, being reminded of checking whether there are similar topics before posting. and oh yeah, i didn't and as a result there are a bunch of similar topics that users might have decided to ignore the question because they've already talked about it a couple of times here. that was two years ago. i'm thinking it would really be great if we're often reminded about similar topics since it will also be very helpful in creating a sound discussion. you know, so that the number of discussions with no response would lessen.

Hi blue_thr3e! Yes, they may need too many people to work for it but I am also thinking if it can be done through a computer program. The checking will be done by the computer with a specific system programmed for that, so not many people will be needed. But it will really cause a lot of expenses to myLot that's why I'm thinking now that it's really hard to possibly implemented. In avoiding repetitive discussion, we should think of a unique way to discuss a topic, not the very common ways. Thank you for responding and have a great day! :)

Hi Harold_ks
I agree, that is a good idea. If they could provide a filter to all discussions, so right on the spot we would know if posts are either acceptable or not, or either abiding their TOS or not. I just hope they would consider this suggestion. So we all won't be wasting our time responding to posts then at the end we would find our replies deleted already. And this would teach a lesson also to the posters right away, then onwards we could expect only quality discussions.
happy mylotting!you're clever.

Hi assinertata! Yes, that is really the point. I hope they can really consider our suggestion and do something about it. It would really be a big help to us. Thank you for responding and have a great day! :)

Harold thanks thats just what I was thinking. I read one discussion herein my email thunder bird and I went into mylot to respond and wosh it was deleted already., now if they would at once after a discussion is posted check it out and delete immediately we would not even be tempted to reply if we were unsure that it had broken a rule. that way if its not on long enough to let us respond on ones we really are not sure of, we would lose no responses and earning s to the deletion process. You have a great idea, and I cannot see why it could not be enforced.

Hi hatley! Yes, at first, we have thought that this is really a great idea but the problem is the process on implementing it. It will not be easy. It will cause difficulties to myLot itself. So even this is a good idea, it really cannot be implemented. Thank you for responding and have a great day! :)

I think, as a member of mylot, we should to do our part. For me, we don't need an additional committee to check if the topic we are about to post has already been posted. It is our duty to check. Plus, everything has been laid out on the Guidelines. If everyone is following the rules and reading the guidelines, I think deleting of discussion will never happen. There will be no wasted discussion and replies ever on MyLot. My suggestion is please read the guidelines.

Hi dvirtualist! Yes, if all of us are just diligent to read and fluent enough to understand every sentence well, there will really no more guidelines violation, unfortunately, it's not all of us. Thank you for responding and have a great day! :)

We can actually check before we post by doing a search to see if there is a discussion posted with a certain topic. I have done that myself, so I don't post a duplicate discussion, as to me it is just a waste of time, and it would end up getting deleted anyway, and those that would respond would lose as well as the one who started the discussion. It isn't hard to search to make sure that discussions wouldn't be4 posted already on a certain topic. It is always best to check first before posting anything, so as not to waste your time. good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Hi rosekiss! Yes duplicate discussion is just one of the violations that we might commit. There's still a lot more. And yes, we should just avoid violating the guidelines. And you have said one suggestion to avoid violation. That's a good one. Thank you for responding and have a great day! :)

So you mean to say, MyLot should create a team that will preview and review submitted posts first and have them approve the topic before they appear here? That sounds nice. I hope that will be noted well by the admin.

Hi magtibaygom! Yes, that's really what I mean. It will really be beneficial for us if it will be implemented. Thank you for responding and have a great day! :)
