The New Me

wish my friend Nelda could see your photo. she is so into real short hair and now I have let mine grow she is always after me to get a hair cut. You look much happier and I am glad for you,its time you had some happiness in your life.Love does change things like the song from Phantom of the Opera,Love Changes Everything. I am happy you have a new love. I wonder if that would work for me, love myself, and focus on myself at my age I am so grateful for each new day. My wish is to get outr of this retirement center which I cannot do until my son finds a good job and accumulates some money.then we could rent an apartment again for the two of us and I could once more do for myself. I may be in my eighties but i c an still cook and keep an apartment clean.

Sweetheart like me you had to wait many years for this Happiness but it has been worth waiting for I also hd to learn to like myself, to learn that someone is loving me and cares for me, that I will not be hurt any more mentally, physically or verbally, I am being respected and loved and that counts so much for a Person like you and me I am so happy for you I really am The Photo tells me all it is lovely Big Hugs to you

I am so happy for you. Take care of each other and respect each other, please. I've been going through 2 and a half years of depression; having to take anti-depressants, etc. For some unknown reason my husband thinks I've cheated on him. After 18 years of marriage I couldn't believe it. I laughed at first because I thought he was just joking with me. Anyway, to make a long story short...I packed CJ up and our stuff and was ready to head out the door to my dad's in another state until the Holy Spirit told me to unpack everything and tell him you love him and that you're not leaving. Well, things aren't back the way they were as of yet but we're both trying. If he starts in on me again, though...I'll have to leave because I won't be able to go through it again. I've never been on medication in my life...Am trying to get off it as it is, gradually, and I'm trying to lose weight as well. Good luck to you both and keep CJ and I in your prayers...

what a really nice and inspiring post you've got here. it's good that you feel happy and have love back in your life. sometimes when love is around and you can feel it, it somehow makes life a lot easier and that we find more meaning. it seems that you have also found contentment in your life. it really is true when there is love and happiness then your perception of life and yourself changes.

I'm very happy that you have finally found your true happiness on the new you. I hope I do too but I'm still young and still have to undergo on a lot of things. You are right that you have to learn in loving your self first. I believe that because you won't be happy and love other people if it's you yourself you do not love at the first place.
