With a 22 point solid performance from the Sixth Man of the Year Jamal Crawford, The Hawks now will face the Orlando Magic in the Conference Semis. Will they be able to neutralize Dwight Howard and Co. With Carter, Lewis and the rest of the Magic crew able to support D12, can the big three of the Hawks ( Johnson, Horford, Smith) keep up? Your thoughts.

I thought the Milwaukee Bucks would pull it off against the Atlanta Hawks! In games 3,4 and 5 the Bucks were on fire! Playing short handed, without Bogut, even! Then in games 6 and 7 the Hawks just manhandled the Bucks! So now the Hawks are going against the Magic in the playoffs in the next round. I'll go with the Magic.

One of the best matchups in the playoffs. Position to position both teams has a formidable player in their lineup. The only difference is Dwight Howard. Josh Smith and Al Horford has their share of defending Howard but strength for strength and power to power, Howard has the edge. This will be a seven game series and either team can win it depending upon the execution of each team.

this series is over before it started. i don't see the magic losing to the hawks. orlando can defend their homecourt but we can't say the same to atlanta. yes, atlanta plays solid basketball in their homecourt but i see orlando getting at least 1 win or maybe sweep atlanta in their own turf.
i don't think the hawks have enough bodies to throw at dwight howard. taken that howard didn't play well in the first round against charlotte, the magic still had a relatively easy time against the bobcats. plus the magic have too many weapons offensively for the hawks to match up. howard can easily dominate zaza in the paint and vince carter can create points for himself. plus add the three point shooting of the other magic players such as lewis and jj reddick. i would say that the hawks are more athletic and can perhaps take advantage of this by running the ball and going for a fastbreak every single chance they get but when it goes down to half court sets and plays, howard, gortat, and pietrus can clamp down the middle and prevent the hawks from driving to the basket.
just my thoughts.
