What does smiling gives on you? I recently found out that when we smile, our body releases endorphins which serves as pain reliever. It also reduces our stress aside from giving a positive impact on our mood. Do you smile often? What are your impressions to people who always smile? Do you know other benefits of smiling?

It depends on where I am. Like if i'm in the phil (philippines) people will smile back, and say I'm really nice, really friendly, not like other Amerians. If I'm in America people look at me weird, and say oh he must be one of those crazy people.

yes. The first thing I noticed about phils is they are very friendly, very relaxed, always saying hello, and smiling. Americans are always in a hurry, always in a rush, always have a snobby, or grumpy look on their faces. They don't say hello unless its "Hello can I get some help over here!" Very serious people.

Smiling is very good exercise in our jaws and bones. I didn't even thought that smiling can be healthy and can help us to reduce our stress and feel oh so young.

Of course, I do. I even do the smiling exercise. I usually smile even to people I don't know. It is a simple form of respect, sometimes, even friendship. It is also contagious. I believe that when you smile to a person, she'll also smile in return. I want seeing other people to smile too. It feels light. When I see a person smiling, it makes me think that the person is very responsible and knows how to handle problems positively. That's because every person has problems, right? But they manage to smile...

I smile a lot... I remember when I saw my former classmate in 10 years we haven't see each other... I think the distance between us is around 20 feet and I'm already smiling to her... She said how can I be sure that she's the one that I know of?

They say that when a person smiles, nerves was being stretch and smiling somehow makes you feel younger. It doesn't only gives impact to the person smiling but also the one's being smiled at. It is one way that truly lighten up one's day. Even if things doesn't work out that well and even if were sad it's a relief when someone smiled at you. I am one of those that is really fond of smiling specially when taking pictures and when a person smiled at me although I don't know that person I smiled at him/her back as a sign of courtesy.

I do often smile people even thought i don't know how to smile it's because i rarely smile. They always teased me that my smile was too expensive they even called me dracula because except for rarely smiling my eyes were very different too sometimes it was like burning mostly during at night. I guess smiling relaxes muscles of our face and it makes people look younger and more easy to deal with

I do smile. I know that is takes more muscles to frown than to smile. Which in theory means that it is easier to smile than frown. As I've grown older, it is a habit to smile. I meet someone's gaze, I smile. I may not know them, but I smile. It's kind of automatic. I was a very depressed child and teenager, so I guess I'm making up for lack of smiles back then, with the here and now.

Actually I do smile a lot during the day. I also find that having a sense of humor works too. Sometimes I do really dumb things during the day and it's nice to sit down and laugh about them.

I don't smile often. It is because, I don't look good when I am smiling. Nowadays, I always encounter problems that make me more serious and sad. When I am with my friends, I smile and laugh a lot. I don't mind it because they accept me for who I am. Smiling attracts positive energy to you. And smiling will affect your surroundings making the day beautiful and full of hope.

Well I smile because it makes people think I'm friendlier and I look better when I smile. Plus it helps me have a more positive view on things.

i think lately, i don't. i think it's awkward if i'd smile often around strangers. because lately, i've been spending more time around strangers. i have a really close friend since high school and she always smiles. although mostly for cute boys. hahahah... she do this trick of smiling, although not looking directly to a cute prospect. you know, just so that person could see her smile. as to my impressions to people who always smile, well, they vary. depends on the kind of smile. if it's more like grinning, or arrogant smile or naughty, and directed to you, i'd think they're either b!tches or b@stards. if the smile is warm, i'd feel comfortable and think that person is really nice.

I try to smile throughout most of the day. I have not been much of a smiler for most of my young life, but I figure an overall change in my outlook would be a good thing. There is no reason to dwell on negative things. Life is wonderful, and you have a ton of reasons to smile every day. The good outweighs the bad, and you can smile your way out of a bad mood.

Yea...I heard that smiling releases the stress and keeps us happy and I have felt this thing too but other than this, I never went in detail about it. In fact, my sister told me about it that, when we smile, we reduce our stress. And I smile like so many times in day that it is uncountable. But yes, my teachers say that, if you smile and laugh alot, you'll die soon but I never believed their words nor I am going to believe it now. I don't believe them becaus efater hearing so many people, ofcourse the teachers seem to be wrong. As hundreds of people cannot be wrong and one person correct. :)

Wow do I smile! I smile a million times a day. I have had people tell me that I smile too much and then others state, "Wow you are still smiling," when they haven't seen me in awhile. Either way I'll gladly take both comments. I would rather have someone remember me smiling than remember me as the girl who always has a frown. To me, people who smile are happy with life and happy with themselves which is a beautiful way to feel. Smiling automatically puts you and those around you in a good mood. Happy smiling!
