I want to start a small business so that I will not ask money to my parents. But My problem is I don't have a big capital. Actually I'm just like a broker trying and hoping to earn some money. I'm currently a volunteer nurse and I only get food allowance, no salary at all. So I really need some part time job or business for my needs and I don't Wanna ask money to my parents anymore... Any suggestion fellow pinoys?

Hello vycess. If you have constant internet access, you can also try transcription. It's not that difficult to do you just have to encode mostly messages on voicemails. You can apply as transcriber through Quicktate. You can look for it on the web. Also, if you can write, you can apply for online writing jobs like what I am currently doing. I can send you a list of good writing sites available to Filipinos like us. So far, I have not had any experience with scammers, and I am glad. Foreigners are easier to please you know. And the pay is definitely good. I now average $200-300 in 15 days for my writing and transcribing jobs combined. I have also recently joined sites which accept reviews in the UK and they also pay cents like here on myLot but in pounds, mind you. So there, good luck, and hope this helps.

Hi there! It's a good thing you're a business minded like myself. When I graduated from college, I borrowed some money from my parents and relatives. I started my very own business. It was great and later on I manage to pay them back after a year. So you can try it also. JUST REMEMBER: 1. Borrow only the money that you know you can pay 2. When starting a business, study it a million times before investing so that your money wont go in to waste.

vycess, Besides being short of capital to start a business, I am wondering if you are short of ideas and experience to embark on a business venture. I am saying this because I am not familiar with you and if you are really cut to run a business on your own. I just hate to see you give up your current job and pursuit for something which is an uncertainty for you. Entrepreneurship is not something you enter with a half ignited flame of interest or ill-knowledge, so I would suggest that you try to learn more on your free time about what you would like to do and take up. Find out about current trends, market studies, consumer behavior and available financial resources for your business setup. You may also start writing out your business plan to help yourself with this setup. I hope that you can consider what I have said here and if possible see you successful with your dreams. Take care.

I'm not giving up nursing I just need some extra income to support my needs financially and to take up some exams regarding IELTS or NCLEX when I already earned enough money. Anyway, thank you for the advice and suggestions. :)

vycess, Out of curiosity, just what do you have in mind that you want to start? Anyway, you are right with your current decision and let me applaud you for that and I wish you the best for the future. Take care.

Hi vycess. Same here, I am also a Nurse and I understand what you are trying to say. Thank God that I earn a good amount as a Nurse comparing with others. Just like you, I also want financial freedom and I recently joined an MLM business. A multilevel marketing business wherein we earn either through selling products or recruiting others. As of now, it looks good. I see myself in the next few years successful because of being optimistic and determined towards my goal. So if you are really decided to earn a good amount of money, don't be afraid to risk. You will not see any results if you will not try...

Hi. Yes, I have one. I have a loading business (Globe). I started doing this when I was in 3rd year college because all of my classmates were Globe users. Since then, I got fascinated with it and until now I'm still pursuing this business (especially because we have a small store at home). I don't know why but I think that I have fallen in love with selling cellphone loads. Haha! And it's not that stressing than other small businesses I know because it still comes 'handy' even though I'm working full time. I know that there are still other small businesses that you can start as part-time but for me, this is one of the most practical and convenient.

Yes, I'm planning to start a loading business too since it will not be difficult for us to look for customers, they will be the one who will look for loading store. I hope I can start it soon. More power to your loading business :)

Thank you. Having a loading business is also fun aside from the fact that you can help people, too. More power and God bless to your future business. :-)

The best way is to have a paid job and to start your business at the same time. Gradually build up your business while you are still earning. Then there will come a time when your business will need more time than you can spare and then that is the time to give up your job and work full time on your own business and make it grow. Never think that being your own boss is easy work. You always work much harder for yourself. Good luck!

to start a business, don't stuck with ready or not capital which you have. Capital money is the smallest part of an effort, the most important is the willingness. With just have a willingness to become an entrepreneur, that's had mean you had a good start.

If you do not have any capital, you can start selling. I am going to email to you a website so you can study and determine if you are capable of selling the products.

Now-a-days starting a small business is not a simple thing. You need to consider a lot of things side-by-side. Even if you managed to get some cash which is not with you now (borrowed from someone), is a liability to payback and it is just a starting point only. First of all, you need to identify a better business which suit to your capital investment. You cannot suddenly jump into any of the business even if it requires minimal investment. You need to get a better place, marketing location, good clients, etc. Even if you get it, your living enmy ie competition is a challenging one. You business should be match with state-of-the-art and contemporary and acceptable to get all best customers. Even if you spend a lots of investment and attention, it should not necessary that it should end up with a good profit or return. Also, an immediate profit and great return of income will come only after a distant period of time. Apart from this, a great deal of expenses like utility bills like electricity, rent, if required, phone bills etc may come arise by time to time. These all are a few basis issues. As an individual, who is not having no previous experience would negatively affect in the initial period of time. As you need to pay attention of about 9-10 hours per day, you need to keep more assistants for you which again need more money as salary etc. These all are some of the basic things. Depend upon your geographical area, the magnitude will have minor changes up or down. But overall nature will remain the same. These all are not to de-motivate you, but to make a cautious of before going for any business. But, I have something in my mind which will suit for which I cannot explicit through this conversation. You can contact me through my id wherein I think I can help you a little bit appropriate. The id is k.thankappan@in.ey.com Best of luck and regards, Thank-s

There is a new loading business called LoadXtreme (http://www.loadxtreme.ph/) under Vmobile, powered by PentaCapital. This loading business is a lot different than traditional loading businesses. Unlike in a traditional loading station, you would need 3 different phones and three different sims (Globe, Smart, Sun) to load only Globe, Smart, and Sun. But with LoadXtreme, with ONE phone and ONE sim, you can load ALL prepaid products (including internet prepaid, onling gaming, landline prepaid, etc). See all products here: http://www.loadxtreme.ph/new/products/ And you would ONLY need to take out P250! I, for one, have also thought of a small business that wouldn't take up all my money because I am just a college student. When I heard about this, I just couldn't say no because of its really small capital and its ease of access. And, come on... everyone NEEDS load... rich, poor, young, old, panget, maganda... it's a NECESSITY! My name is Louise Abiera and I am a dealer of LoadXtreme. If you have questions or inquiries just call me at 9641769 or email me at louiseabiera@yahoo.com. I also do transactions over the phone and the internet. If you contact me that way, you can become a retailer without even paying the P250, haha! Just visit the website and all information is there http://www.loadxtreme.ph/ But you need to contact a dealer if you want to become a retailer. So, contact me! :D You can also visit my blog here... http://louiseabiera.mylx.biz/blogs/
