I am just curious what you are doing to celebrate your special day. Will you have breakfast in bed? Go to dinner? Get/Give a gift? Or simply enjoy time with your children and loved ones? I think we will have a cookout on the hubby's side of the family and play some games and spend time with our children. Whatever you are doing for Mother's Day 2010, i hope you enjoy your day and cherish every moment. Happy Mother's Day!

My mom is far away, so I'll just call her. I brought her present for Mother's Day at her house during those, lovely Post-Christmas sales. It's wrapped up and in a closet in her house. No shipping fee required! Smart me!

Hello zandersmom08! Well i really don't know what to expect this coming mother's day. Ive got no plans yet whether we'll go out together or just stay and have some celebration here in our home, but for sure, i will cherish and stay happy during that day because it's our day! I will greet all my mother's who was very closed to me including all our fellow mothers here in myLot. Lastly, i will greet my mother, visit her in the cemetery and pray for the eternal repose of her soul. Good luck!

Well, this may sound rather down, but I will probably not be doing much for mother's day. I am a single parent of two children too young to go shopping by themselves, cook breakfast, or do much of anything. Even if they could go shopping, I am unemployed and do not have the money to give them to shop for me. I will probably go to my mother's house to wish her a happy mother's day, but other than that, I cannot afford to do much. I feel bad, but there is also nothing I can do. I do cherish every moment with my children and they try their best to give me a great mother's day. I think I appreciate that more than anything. They really do try, and they really want me have a great mother's day.

First of all, thank you, zander!I suppose you are a mother?Well, happy Mother's Day too!I am not a mother now,but certainly in the future.I am 22 and my mother 50.She has devoted her 50 years' life to her parents, her brothers and sisters, her husband, and her 3 children. She is a great woman.I love her so much. There is nothing in the world can express my gratefulness to her.As i am away from home now,i can not give her a gift .I will make a phone call, telling her that i love her and wishing her a happy Mother's Day.
I love Mama!

My mother does not want a 'big' thing this year. That really bums me out though. There are five kids in the family, each of us are married with our kids too... so everything we do is a 'big' deal!
That said, she mentioned she wants a book from Lowes. I plan on picking that up from her and dropping it off to her.
I on the other than am hoping for a new rose bush for my garden. And, a nice quiet day myself. I have a five year old and chances are the Pittsburgh Penguins are playing a play-off game that night, so I know what he'll be doing. :(
