Do you agree that most of the people express wrong information in chatting......

Maybe there are some just fooling around because they are bored and want to play tricks on people. When I chat I always say the right info about me, I don't want a lousy chat like that.

there are some who's unwilling to divulge their real information with their chat friends but when friendship is established I think real information can be exchanged. But with virtual unknowns I think that it is actually better not to divulge your personal info, identity theft and the likes do abound so it's really better at times. but of course you can still give out a little information about yourself.

Hi Umadper, I am guilty of wrongly overstating my age, and marital status only once with one person with whom I accidentally came in contact over the net. I was finding it difficult to extricate myself. So I told him I had two sons, and my elder son was married. And that I was married to a Chartered Accountant. The guy was not buying it - so I had to transform myself into my chartered accountant husband - and the profanity that followed had me off my mind for several days!

Well no..i dont think all does cheating, sometimes they cheat because of insecuredness and safety. I dont cheat!:)

Wrong how? What do they do to hype their status? I am sorry, but I do not understand the issue. What could people do to make their responses or discussions better?

hey you must right, Bascially when we are chatting we unknown person you doonot know whos there so may be to avoid giving much details to some unknow person people provide false information,or hype up status. Even they may do this is just to impress other one.
