Would you rather be a child, teenager, or an adult?

i find this question really hard because I enjoyed every stage of my life. As a child, I was loved and taken care of by the people around me. All I have to do is to eat, play, and be obedient. As a teenager, I learned to love, study well, befriend others, be more responsible, etc. And as an adult, I am now more focused on work and love. Different stages bring different memories and all of them are worth-remembering. I cannot go back to my childhood nor as a teenager. All I can do is live at the present and do good. So for me, I am an adult and act like one. How about you? Will you still prefer being a child, teenager, or an adult?

I like this discussion because I think at sometime in life everyone thinks "Gosh, I wish I were __ again."
What? 17 years of age where you're still carefree, but learning about love and beginning to realize this is YOUR world and you're going to have to grow up soon and become your own person.
Or 7 years old. Where you do what mom and dad tells you to do, but have not a worry in life. The only worry is, OMG, it's almost 8:00 and they're going to make me go to bed. LOL
But, I enjoy being an adult too, and teaching my own children. I like the life I have lived, and even though sometimes it would be nice to not have the trials of bills to pay, people to look after, I wouldn't change it for the world.

I agree with you, there are good things about every stage of my life. I loved how easy and carefree my childhood was. I didn't have to worry about paying the bills, cooking meals every day, housework, etc. I could just play, read, write, whatever and I enjoyed school.
As an adult, I do find life hard and very stressful at times. But I guess these are the things that come along with the responsibilities of adulthood - running a house, looking after kids, etc.

I think I enjoyed it best when I was in college..so that's like pre-adult? lol. I was kinda independent already at that time, I had a lot of fun...earning money and hanging out with friends. Not that much responsibility but I still had to be responsible in a way. It was balance in that stage. Both fun and learning, and being responsible as well.

I'm still thinking and acting like a teenager. I know I'm now a grown-up, but I'm still so childish that I can't land a job.LOL. I want to be a woman and try to refine my actions and be more modest.hekhek. I guess I'm just a late bloomer.I need to change ASAP.

How I wish I can be a child forever... There is a certain kind of happiness, contentment, and peace that comes from a child's innocence (and ignorance, perhaps). It's something that only children experience. They are enviously carefree. =)
Teenagers learn and discover a whole lot of things. We explore and enjoy during this stage of life. We make friends, and we make mistakes.
Adults are busy with work and responsibilities and are facing problems every now and then. I would say being an adult is stressful. But it is only when I've become an adult that I realized the essence of things.
I'm thankful that I have once been a child and a teenager because I have lots of beautiful memories during those days. But I am contented in being an adult because I now realize how precious those memories are.
