Hi! it's my birthday today, and I plan to celebrate this day with my family. just a simple dinner which i cooked. i was just wondering if any of you guys still celebrate their birthdays even if you're in your 30s already? some i know just let the day pass, as if its just an ordinary day. do you celebrate in a grand way, or a simple get together with family? are you conscious of this day, like you go to the mall, and you feel like eating something, then you go for it, thinking that it's your birthday anyway? and do you you also take note of the people who greet you?
cheers to all!

I never experienced a birthday of mine that is so grand.LOL. I even envy those friends of mine who invite a lot of people to her birthday. I hate myself because I become conscious when all eyes are on me.LOL. I'd rather celebrate my birthday with my family or friends or with my future lover. The last option sounds great.ahaha.

i used to celebrate in a grand way, like a real party with lots of booze and people (friends of course), and catered food. that was until my 20's but when i hit the 25 yo mark i suddenly mellowed down and just opted to dine out with my family. now that i have my own family and place, i now cook the meals myself.
yes, it is really nice and special spending birthdays with lovers, but unfortunately for me, my husband (then-bf) is always away and happens to be out during our birthdays. maybe that's why i get lazy preparing for a celebration too.

I had a big birthday party when I turned 30, but now I usually have a small celebration with my husband, my parents, my brother and his girlfriend and a few close friends. Last year we had dinner at an Indian restaurant, we talked a lot and we had a really good time. I turn 34 in September, and this year I am going to celebrate my birthday in a different way. My husband and I are going to travel around in Europe in September and October, and on my birthday we are probably going to be in Bulgaria or Greece.

I am celebrating my birthday in a very simple manner where I take time to pray alone thanking God for my existence and giving me the opportunity to live another year. Of course I am exited whenever a love one or a friend says their greetings to me and I cherries it.

hey happy birthday to you.
well, my mother is at her 30's already and we still celebrate her birthday just like before. we eat with our relatives and friends. its a good way to let the family have a bonding time and to let the birthday celebrant his?her worth.

When I was a student, staying home with my parents, they used to celebrate my birthdays. My parents forced me to go to church on that day and cooked special food at home. They also got me choclates to share with my schoolmates and friends. I also have some other birthdays made special by my classmates and colleagues. Now, I am married and moved to a city far away from my friends. I am in late twenties and don't care much about my birthdays. But, I still miss those birthdays made special by people who love me.
