What you use UMBRELLA OR RAINCOAT in rain..?

Hi. siliguri. I usually will use an umbrella. That is all that I may use to protect myself from the rain. I do plan on buying me a raincoat. I want the added protection from the rain itself.

Yes, whenever it is supposed to rain, I tend to bring an umbrella with me. Never really felt right wearing a raincoat. It never fit me. I do have a warmer and dry change of clothes on me, because the rain can get hot and heavy. Plus, the umbrella can protect the top of your head, but not the rain blowing in your face. Trust me, I have gotten soaked many times with an umbrella. Although it is funny. Whenever I have an umbrella and when it is supposed to rain, it rarely does. A couple of times it does but being prepared tends to cause the rain not to happen, at least in my experience. Of course, when I do not bring one, that is just inviting it to rain when it is in the forecast. It is almost funny how these things happen. Well not funny when it does happen but funny in retrospective.

hell0 Siliguri! well, i mostly use an umbrella because I have never had a raincoat- I think that I would look funny if I have a raincoat in the rain- actually people in my country almost don't use a raincoat, when it rains!

I haven't used a rain coat ever since in primary school. I've been umbrella all this while because its easier to use, I don't have to wear it

hello siliguri, I prefer umbrella but it should be small like folded umbrella that could fit in my tiny bag. LOL! Or sometimes I would bring a jacket or sweater but I rarely use a raincoat.

I use umbrella when it's raining...but if there's a storm or typhoon wherein the wind are blowing so hard and I have to go out of the house, I prefer raincoat because using umbrella would be of no use since the strong winds will just blow away my umbrella.
