I do love to watch birds, not only out in the yard, but on walks, hikes, drives made specially to go birding. I've been fascinated by birds since I was about 12, and now even own some of my own. But my favorite thing is still just getting out to watch wild birds. One of the most wonderful things about them is that you can go just about anywhere in the world and find birds, regardless of habitat.

I never specially went to a place for bird watching. But I go to the terrace of our home especially in the evenings and watch lot of birds moving in groups and patters and singing. It gives me relief from some thing that bothered me till that time.

That is really interesting - being a photographer I joined a Bird watchers association here and every month we hire a jeep and go into the forests nearby to watch the birds. It is really interesting because we come across several varieties of birds and also have a chance to capture good photos too.
We carry our own lunch as it is a full day trip.

Actually, there is just something about birds that grosses me out - maybe it's their feather covered bodies, maybe it's their skinny and creepy little feet, maybe it's the beaks... it's just something! So, needless to say I don't like bird watching - but I do it when I am at my grandma's, cause she loves birds! :)
